I prayed & prayed that I would hit the CA Lotto...I didn't...God hates me.

I think the Homosexuals are safe...but if I do hit the Lotto, I will report back for then the Homosexuals might be in trouble.

Oh, I also prayed that my Cat (not the one in my Avatar) would not die...she did...my prayer record sucks!

See, this woman has a story behind her that doesn't just go away. It isn't like opening a can of soda. It's like peeling an orange(always more interesting with each removed layer.) She isn't giving interviews, and that means the press has to go investigate her on their own. I think she better start giving some interviews. I think having a full time Methodist(and a part time Baptist) in the White House was about as far as Americans were going to go down this road. She is extreme, and that's not gunna be fixable. She needs to give interviews starting pronto, and atleast put some charm into the mess. This right here(Danzig) is an example of somebody who doesn't care which party wins, but is turned off by how extreme JOHNBOY got with his 2nd in command.

Another one who doesn't like either party, but ain't kool with the extreme side of Johnboy's 2nd in command. She's interesting, and charismatic. I see the reason he chose her, but the extreme stuff is gunna be a heavy weight to pull. Independent voters aren't that keen on the highly religious stuff(they'd already be Republicans if they were.)

Frankly, I'm most interested in a statement I heard on CNN yesterday Paul Mc...whatever (former Clinton advisor) said that while she was Gov, she cut state aid to families with "special needs" kids from 12 million to around 3 million...if true, that's a HUGE issue for me, especially after standing on the platform and announcing to parents with "special needs" kids that they would have a friend in the White House if elected. Don't know if true but he's usually pretty good with his facts! Yeah, she has such a child...but she can afford the special care...will be interesting to see if this is true...much bigger deal than selling the jet on e-bay (not), or opposing the bridge to nowhere and returning the funds (not).

a dichotomy for sure. when i was talking to someone here about religion (she's very religious-but ignores the whole treat others as your brother type thing) and she said 'you believe in the theory of evolution?' and i said that's like asking if you believe in gravity.

that's the thing...i don't believe or fall into the whole 'it's the end of the world if the reps/dems (depending on which side you're speaking of) win the thing. hopefully there are enough sane people to balance out the ultra lefts and rights in each party.

if that's true, she's a hypocrite as well. or a liar, however you wish to put it. i think a case like that would be a huge issue for a lot of people. but my question is, as governor did she sign a bill passed by the ledge? i would wonder why she would do that, but i don't think a governor has any more control over getting a bill started than a president-altho both have the power to finish it.

Didn't happen this time. If this guy has a stroke, then this lady is in charge. I don't think JOHNBOY believes :

1) gays can be coverted to straight with prayer.

2) Creationism should be taught in schools.

3) in being against allowing rape victims to have an abortion.

She is extreme(those are "ultra right" positions.)

You would think you discovered the cure for cancer - yeah - we all know she is conservative and her views represent the conservative view of many Americans - So what.

Why don't you spend your time talking about how great Obama is and how great Biden is - instead all you do is spew a bunch of personal attacks about people that have different views than you.

We get it - you are voting for Obama/Biden - good for you. Go to Gay rallies...Go have an abortion....Go stand outside of a church and don't pray...Good for you!!!

But the crap you spew on the thread is worthless nonsense - but you seem to think it is apocalyptic.

Hey Copernicus..get a life.

Hey Copernicus..get a life.

stating someone's stance on abortion rights is not a personal attack. yes, this thread seemingly has turned into a what's wrong with mccains running pick attack...but yeah, there are things that obama/biden stand for that i strongly disagree with as well.
whether scuds does or not i don't know.

as for abortion rights-i don't presume to know/judge others and the choices they make. saying you should have that right in no way indicates personal PREFERENCE. we all have the right to own a gun. do all of us own one or have to get one? no.

also, there is NO doubt in my mind that sarah palin believes in the second amendment. our supreme court ruled that included in the right to privacy is a right to an abortion-does she NOT believe in that part of the constitution? we have the right to choose our religion. i wonder if she feels that there should be prayer in school? also, we declared that all men are created equal-but apparently that is not the case if one is gay.

THE NAME OF THIS THREAD IS Mccain's VP. She is extreme. Unlike many people, I actually back that statement up with examples. God forbide you actually provide proof of a claim. I gave you 3 reasons why. Instead of getting upset, address the issue. Don't try to constantly distract by name calling etc. Tell me why you should still vote for that ticket with her on it. This is the time(not after she is in, and that guy drops dead at 74 years old.) Crap spewing is when you wrote "Go to Gay rallies...Go have an abortion....Go stand outside of a church and don't pray...Good for you!!!" Now, that's spewing crap. You get upset, and get off issue.

We just spent all this money n' lives on a war in Iraq that the majority of citizens didn't want to have us involved in. How does that happen? It happened because people voted for somebody that did something they didn't want done. It happens. You want creationism taught in schools? You want no abortions allowed even for rape victims? You're voting for it. When somebody is 72 years old, then their V.P.'s views are very important. You don't want people to know what her views are? That's what's going on here. Her views are being listed. I don't think people know enough about the views of people they vote for. That's how that war keeps going on when the majority of Americans don't want it going on. When you vote for President you're voting for their possible replacement. Our next election for President is in 4 years(not like we are gunna vote for his replacement is some special election.) If he has a heart attack next summer, then we are gunna have this lady as President for three and a half years. This would be the oldest guy I can remember going in as president. That's why the 2nd in command's views need to be clear. Now is the time to worry about it. Not then. If you vote for her, then you need to take responsibility for what she does. Same as the people who voted for Bush need to take responsibility for those 4100 Americans that he got killed in Iraq.
