I need to add Junctiontwentyfour, 8 year old gelding, who fell and died at Newton Abbot and Chief Editor, (winner of the Dubai Duty Free H. at Newbury two weeks prior), 5 year old trained by Jarvis who sadly had a heart attack and died at Newbury. (He had a pretty nice record... 6 - 3 - 2 of 15).

Rest in peace, all of you.

R.I.P. all. I hope when they redo the Secretariat statue there is a mention of the "lesser" horses attached to it.

Another Club Royal, 10 year old gelding, at Wetherby yesterday...

He had broken his leg as per Racing post.

He had run as Bunny Rabbit in GB...

... but in Hong Kong, where he spent the past few years, he was called Rocket Win.

http://www.hkjc.com/english/racing/O...p?HorseNo=E249

He hadn't won since the Skol Cup (June of '07) but he'd worked his way up and ran in one Class 1 race.

Nice horse who was sadly euthanized after his 48th start (back in February but sometimes news takes a while). He had been trained by Yiu and owned by a Mr. Daniel Lam Ka Kuen (who also ownes Rocket Power who has a story of his own... (full blown laminitis in both front feet in February, according to SCMP, he's now doing really well and and just won a Class 3 yesterday).

Anyway, a little late but farewell to this Hong Kong warrior who was such a joy to watch.

Goodbye, good boy.

I never add a horse here without confirmation but just this once, I will.

Everything I've read... it's safe to say there's no way he made it.

His name was Namjong Sky and after a few seasons in HK without a win, he got three in a row. Well 2.. he was DQ'd in one race.

He had been off since January and broke down in a barrier trial the other day.

His jockey, Zac Purton, informed the HKJC he won't be going to Australia afterall as he's apparently still in pain from the accident.

Like I said I've never made an addition here unless it was confirmed but just the wording in certain articles... it's pretty much alluded to so he needs to be here.

Good bye, good boy.

His final win...

Rest in peace.
