Playsoffs are amazing so far. Hoping Houston and Golden St pull it out, both super dangerous w/ the way San Antonio and Dallas are playing.

I posted in this thread they could win a game or 2. I think they win the series now, they could easily be up 3-0.

RockHardTen1985 04-27-2014 06:10 PM

I really hope Memphis and Dallas make the 1-2 seeds pay. Memphis came back from 20 down in game 1 and lost game 4 in OT. I want OKC and SA out.

RockHardTen1985 04-27-2014 08:55 PM

I really hope Toronto wins this series, not only because I bet them.....
They publicly stated they tanked to get Toronto, I want them to get beat.

RockHardTen1985 04-27-2014 09:04 PM

Maybe I was wrong on Harden. Houston really cant lose this series, it would be a giant disappointment. Aldridge is playing like the superstar.

Duvalier 04-27-2014 09:53 PM

The officiating is an absolute joke

I know its nothing bold, but whoever wins this Portland game wins the series. You cant go to Houston win 2 and come home and not at least split, and if your Houston and drop 2 at home and win 2 at Portland how the hell do you come back home for game 5 and get beat? This is the series, right now. And again Harden is a no show.

RockHardTen1985 04-27-2014 11:30 PM

Epic Game Right Now.

I'm not big on the conspiracy stuff, but these guys just aren't very good. It should be one of Silver's first goals (other than throwing out Sterling)---improve officiating. These are not just blown judgement calls. They are just bad calls, period.

Not reviewing the horrible Ed Malloy call last night is inexplicable. How does that happen? These guys review EVERYTHING! They review three pointers when the guy is three feet behind the line, but they don't review that?

But forgetting they didn't review it, he did he miss that call? He is right there on the play. He said it hit Howard's leg...it was never anywhere near his leg.

You might want to ask the 2002 Sacramento Kings about playoff officiating....It has been as bad.... and worse, in the past.

Funny you say that. Kenny Mauer the biggest culprit in that 2002 series that screwed Sacramento was the head official Sunday night for the Portland - Houston game...it was like deja vu all over again.

NTamm1215 04-29-2014 08:58 AM

How Ed Malloy can call a ball off of Dwight Howard's knee 3 feet in front of him when the ball never went near his body, is beyond me. The officiating in that series has been so bad.

The number of games literally means nothing. Im betting the series, I already have locked in at the prices I list.

San Antonio, but Dallas gets 2. No bet here as the Spurs are minus 900. Actually if I had to bet it I would take Dallas at plus 640. Again no bet here, Spurs in 6.

Memphis in 7. Clearly OKC can win, but I dont love the way they finished the season. Ill stab $100 on Memphis plus 330

Golden State in 7. Not as confident as I would be with Bogut being out. But I cant jump ship now. Golden St for $200 at plus 320.

Houston. I like them in 6. I was hoping this series would be close to even. But Houston is to much a chalk for me to wager.

Miami in 5.

Indiana in 5. No bets straight up on either

Toronto in 7. Value at plus 140. Toronto for $100 at plus 140

Wizards in 7. Value at plus 175 IMO. Washington for $100 at plus 175

My finals prediction is Miami vs either Houston, Golden St or LA. My only strong opinion in the West is that I dont think either of the top 2 seeds gets to the Finals.

1-0 on series plays. plus $175

31 shots taken by Westbrook?

Pants II 04-30-2014 09:43 AM

It's all about Westbrook. Just ask him.

Team killer.

What's he have, like 1 point total in the 4 overtime periods this series?

ateamstupid 04-30-2014 12:26 PM

Scott Brooks is a buffoon. They need to fire him and hire Kevin Ollie.

Cannon Shell 04-30-2014 01:02 PM

OKC is imploding. Brooks has lost control of the team. They need a new direction, he needs to go.

It is obvious that Westbrook isnt listening to Brooks anymore and Tony Allen is hounding Durant into sub-par play. How is it possible that against a team with post men like Gasol and Randolph that Adams has played 21 minutes in this series total?

Durant has played worse than Westbrook has.

But the guy in the suit ultimately is responsible.

Maybe on Playstation.

OK City needs to trade him while he still has value. He's mentally incapable of changing for the better.

Immanuel Kant 05-01-2014 09:37 AM

Who is the imposter wearing Kevin Garnett's uniform?

Time to hang it up........

He should be. Brooks' decisions on which guys play and which don't have killed the offense. ANY good team can limit KD when Perk and Thabo play. Westbrook has lost faith in his horrible system. Jones, Lamb, and Adams should have been playing all year, and playing now. But Brooks would rather play old, slow guys that can't shoot, and Memphis D is too good for that.

cmorioles 05-01-2014 05:43 PM

Westbrook is not the problem. Perfect, of course not. But as somebody that has seen every Thunder game ever played, blaming him is silly.

King Glorious 05-01-2014 06:03 PM

I bet Phil Jackson has to be kicking himself for not waiting a little longer. It's very possible that Indiana, OKC, Houston, and GS could all become open really soon.

Taking 31 shots and going 0-14 in 4 overtime periods certainly isn't helping the cause.

None of them would pay him 1/2 what he is making now. Not to mention that he has 11 rings already, if he can turn the Knicks around the achievement would be far greater than winning another with a close to ready made team. Remember Phil's nemesis has always been Pat Riley who may not have won as many rings as a coach but has been praised as a great executive as well. You know Jackson wants to trump him in that arena as well.

They are gonna escape Memphis because it looks like Conley is hurt. But there are big issues there. Indiana looks like they may get through as well but the flaws of both teams are pretty apparent.

RockHardTen1985 05-02-2014 10:29 AM

Memphis blew it last night. Cost me a nice bet needed them in the series and I cant see them winning a game 7 on the road. I need Golden St to win, same situation though... tough to win a game 7 on the road.

The Association will take care of them...Randolph suspended? smfh

RIP Houston

declansharbor 05-03-2014 12:52 AM

The amount of stud PGs in the league is pretty exciting if you ask me.

Unbelievably good series.

knickslions2 05-03-2014 08:36 AM

Some terrible defense on the last play by Houston. Harden watching the paint dry on the picket fence and why have a guy on the ball on the side with .9 seconds left. Great series

Cannon Shell 05-04-2014 05:14 AM

DeAndre Jordan is still the key

Pants II 05-04-2014 03:15 PM

Toronto had every chance. Timid finish against a veteran squad won't cut it.

Marcus Thornton with a very solid game.

Should be a great series against the Heat.
