They are only 13-3 since Feb 1 Only 9-1 in their last 10 Only winning by an average of 11pts in those 9 wins They have all their key players back from injuries, seem to be rolling going into the final stretch of the season, have a great coach and and a hungry, playoff tested roster. Yeah they sound like they are in deep trouble. |

I think OKC when healthy is still the best team but we will see. Most of the other teams have set rotations, defined roles and will start to get into playoff mode but OKC is going to be messing around trying to figure out the best lineups moving forward, depending on the availability of Perkins and Sefalosha. The Clippers and Houston are playing well but I still think SA is the most dangerous team in the West. They are getting healthy, have a fairly well rested team and wont beat themselves. Phoenix is fading a bit (3-6 in last 9) and might miss the playoffs because Memphis has recovered from all their injuries and is 21-7 in the last 28. Phoenix also only has 7 home games out of its last 19. Amazing season for the Suns but they look like they are going to be climbing an uphill battle. The West is going to be a war for the 3-6 teams. |

We supposedly needed Perkins against teams like Memphis, but did fine without him. Tonight might be a different story. We'll see how Adams does. He is the kind of player that bothers Howard, but he will have to stay out of foul trouble. Perkins is Howard's kryptonite. |
Should be an interesting game tonight. The Rockets got the worst of it schedule-wise the first two times against OKC (4th game in 5 nights) then 5th game in 7 nights when they had the epic 2nd half meltdown. Now, they're playing well and OKC is struggling. I'm sure Patrick Beverley and Westbrook will share pleasantries before the game.

I was thinking this am that OKC might be better off in 2nd seed and playing Dallas in 1st round. They'd still have home court over anyone except SA and the way the West is there are no guarantees the 1 and 2 seeds are going to advance to WC finals like the East |

I think Houston makes a GIANT statement and wins @OKC tonight.

he NBA has certainly changed. In the old days Beverly would get lured into driving to the basket for a "hard foul/clothlesline" and Harden would get pummeled by some ML Carr type guy off the bench. Perkins is good for this type of activity.
Caron Butler is a self check. They are just daring him to shoot. |

Beverly is a no talent assclown. Steven Adams rented out some space inside Howard's head and moved in, not that it takes much. |

Butler was fine, or did I miss something? 3 or 7 on 3s, including a big one in the 4th. I'd certainly rather him be the open guy in the corner than Thabo or Lamb (at this point). |

I wrote the Butler comment in the 1st quarter when he had missed a few wide open shots that Houston didnt even contest. He did shoot better afterwards. |

Love love Portland plus 8. $330/300
Golden st plus 6.5, $65/50 |
Paul Pierce going old school right now. Always loved Pierce. This big white dude on Brooklyn can ball a little, smooth J w/ big range.

Don't think it's possible to dismiss the Nets anymore. Kidd has managed to turn this team into a turnover-forcing machine. Livingston has been a godsend.

Lebron has looked like junk since his 61 game. MVP firmly in KDs grasp at this point.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Charles Barkley, and Blake Griffin. Those are the three guys in league history to have 6,000 points, 3,000 rebounds, 1,000 assists, and shoot over 50% in their first four seasons.
