Am I allowed to say Whitney was a HORRIBLE/BORING race? I know people 'round here are a bit sensitive about criticism so I expect to be flamed. I'm OK with that. I got the super ($690.15 for $1 superbox), which I'm happy about... maybe I'm too inexperienced to know what I should be looking for, but the race was just "ugh." Anyhooo.... :)

Well, it was Hambletonian Saturday! Seriously, what Irad Ortiz did to Danza Cavallo in 50+ to the half and 1:16+ to three-quarters was criminal. Absolutely zero sense of pace - could have gained control and let the horse have his head. (No bet in that race.)
