Again, emotion has little to do with the results of the electoral college in particular swing states.

And the admiration for Obama, and appreciation of his accomplishments, is quite remarkable outside of the small, insulated, self-contained world of emotional hate for the man.

You made a hasty, ill-conceived bet, at terrible odds, based upon emotion and anger. Good luck with that.

Best of luck to you. This is your first bet on a gambling board. Congrats, troll.

All I'm concerned about is Ohio. Obama loses Ohio it's a Romney win.

Not without multiple other states that right now he's quite behind in. Obama can easily win without Ohio, Romney can not.

Romney has never, in this entire election process, over the past year approached having 270 secure votes.

It's an uphill battle that, based upon the "we have the momentum!" screams from his campaign attempting to spin media narrative into a self-fulfilling prophecy, he realizes he's lost. Their internal numbers tell the truth.

The flop-sweat and the quietness during the last half the debate by Romney gave it away, too. He's tired, he's done, he knows it. He never was a viable candidate. He lost in 2008, and in 2012 he was never embraced by even the Republican base primary season.

During the foreign policy debate Monday Romney swung literally 180-degrees on every foreign policy position he has promised during this election, abandoning his own web page and positions, and literally embracing every Obama position on the spot.

The Obama-haters apparently didn't even notice how their guy abandoned "conservatism" completely in a desperate attempt to pull out a last-minute win among the rest of the voters - but the other 2/3 of the country noticed, and were not impressed.

The Obama-haters are just voting for "the guy who is not Obama", they are not voting "for" a candidates positions. So Romney's wild and unpredictable lies and positions swings literally don't matter to them. The man hides his fortune to avoid paying American taxes? They literally don't care. They are not voting on ethics or morals or positions or promises.

But the rest of the country is voting for competence, and they are appalled, and sticking with Obama.

I don't need 10 paragraph propaganda-fueled nonsense.

You're scared and that's ok. Just be sure to share contact info with bigrun. Would hate for you to miss out on shitty newspaper political cartoons.

You seem to believe that the majority of undecideds aren't going to vote for Romney because he looked sweaty and tired in the last half of the debate all the while explaining to me how bad my bet was.

You're a fu.cking idiot. And this is the perfect bet to watch you crash and burn.

LOL - no. I could care less about undecided idiot voters who couldn't find the voting booth lever without a poll worker. They don't matter.

This election was decided between 3 and 1 month ago, based upon ground game, early voting, GOTV efforts in Ohio, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida, Nevada, Colorado, Wisconsin, Virginia, South Carolina, Iowa. That's all that matters.

That's why your hasty bet was bad and I jumped on those on Derby Trail offering me free money - or, to be free of you, I guess, because that's what YOU chose as the bet.

Oh, this is gonna be fun!

Like you said, one guess is that Obama applied to college as a foreign student (big deal, who cares)

But the other big guess is copies of Obama divorce papers never filed from years ago, when the Obama marriage was in trouble (the Obama's have talked about that in the past)

If it's the second - landslide victory for Obama.

Take notes, kids.

Riot 10-24-2012 12:12 PM

OMG, that was pathetic. What happened to Trump, has he really lost it mentally?

You're right on the ultimate self-promoter, but I doubt any media, or anybody else, cares at this point.

Coach Pants 10-24-2012 12:17 PM

This is ridiculous.

He spent a small fortune on investigators and this is the big announcement?

Somehow I doubt this is over. Seems to me the announcement was pulled and they dangled this carrot instead.

You having a multiple personality disability might explain things a little, since you surely do not speak for anyone but yourself on this site.

Now this kind of betting makes me sad. I had zero intentions of voting Romney (or oBama for that matter) but now I am forced to. Swing state too, they seem to think we are very important, numbers 2,3 and 2 in TV spending over the last three weeks.

Cannot wait for it to be over.

I know... I really, really want to vote for Gary Johnson...

this bet is pretty much the only thing that would get me to vote for Romney. I love me some Pants!

Change happens -- change happens because Nerdy Trailers demand it, because they rise up and insist on new posters and new topics, a new politics forum for a new time.

Nerdy Trail, this is one of those moments.

I believe that, as hard as it will be, the change we need is coming, because I've seen it, because I've lived it.

Because I've seen it in Esoteric Central, when we provided Honey Boo Boo Child to more degenerates and posted gifs that no longer work
.
I've seen it in the Padlock, where we worked across party lines to open up discussion and hold trainers more liable, to give better care for our horses, and keep good horses out of the hands of Todd Pletcher.

And I've seen it in this thread, in the posters who hated Riot from the first time and those who never posted again after a very long time of watching her destroy threads; in the liberals who would've never supported war and death but did and settled.

Change is coming to Nerdy Trail.

Antitrust32 10-24-2012 01:06 PM

if Romney wins I think he will owe Pants a huge thank you.

in 2008, we had a ton of people who usually do not vote come out and support Obama.

If he gets the usual non-voters to come out in droves like last time, then Obama wins again.

I just have a feeling he wont get the kind of support he got in 2008. It will be close... right now I really think it's 50/50, with my gut feeling going towards Romney.

I heard he got a zero in business law and thus concentrated on community organizing al la Jesse Sr.

Also listed himself as a Kenyan instead of Hawaiian. A simple spelling error.

Also heard he cared so much about women and specifically his grandma who raised him he called in absent for her wake/funeral.

Cared so much about charity he only started giving more than 1% a few years ago.

Cares so much about family he leaves an illegal auntie and uncle to fend for themselves.

He's a living oxymoron!

I agree. We are tired of all the liberal propaganda. It is time to rise up and take our site back.

I hope that nobody here has lost hope. Don't give up! Don't lose hope! It's not over! "Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain't over now! Cause when the going gets tough.. The tough get goin'. Who's with me?"

We have been oppressed by a brutal dictator (Riot) who tortures us with non-stop, liberal propaganda, day, after day, after day. We all have hope to be freed from this ruthless persecution. To be forced to read quotes every day from the Daily Kos, the Huffington Post, and thinkprogress.org is cruel and unusual punishment.

I would hope people realize there isn't a difference between the two candidates of any significance outside of gay rights and abortion.

And those two issues are manipulative fear mongering garbage. So vote for Romney and get rid of this b.itch.

Or vote for Obama and continue to be a fu.cking idiot who likes long-winded partisan cun.ts destroying a subforum.
