Not sure if it was his fertility winding down or her coming off a campaign and being given (prepare for technical jargon) all the things they give to deal with fillies and mares having cycles. There are a lot of theories about champion race mares and how you get situations like Genuine Risk's reproductive issues.

Not anytime soon; I posted this in the TC thread, but he's off again for 60 days with shin problems. The horse is fragile as glass - this is about the 4th time they've had to stop on him.
