Togacapper 06-05-2006 10:10 PM

lotta bumping in the stretch

Togacapper 06-05-2006 10:10 PM

I had 1.3.9

Longshotrick 06-05-2006 10:12 PM

Damn, Paul Perry just the wrong horse, had a nice BT as well.

This is like trying to read Chinese tonight.

Togacapper 06-05-2006 10:15 PM

I seem to always throw his horses in.

Togacapper 06-05-2006 10:16 PM

This horse beatable Rick

Longshotrick 06-05-2006 10:17 PM

Sure he is!! Just trying to find out who can do it.

Togacapper 06-05-2006 10:18 PM

5 seems to always take $

Longshotrick 06-05-2006 10:21 PM

I like the way the 5 is cutting back in distance, bred by Cigar's sire Palace Music. Has had a BT since his last as well got beat a length over a slow course.

Like her chance alot

Longshotrick 06-05-2006 10:22 PM

6 is the value in my opinion. Faced much tough last and made a bid held well for third.

Scurlogue Champ 06-05-2006 10:22 PM

I like 5,7 all day long in 4A.

That distance cutback plus the weight break for the 7 is the key for me. Speed/fade in the last at 8.5. 6.5 furlong distance looks like he might take up the running and win it for me.

I like the 5's Barrier Trial for the minors

Togacapper 06-05-2006 10:23 PM

2 beaten fav last 3 out and is also moving up in class no

Longshotrick 06-05-2006 10:25 PM

Feel like I gotta make something happen in this race.

Might box 5-6-3

Longshotrick 06-05-2006 10:27 PM

Un F***ing real, why did the fav have to fire here!

Ash you were close

Longshotrick 06-05-2006 10:28 PM

Should have this Trifecta easy but I don't

Togacapper 06-05-2006 10:29 PM

Had a 2,5, saver didn't win nothing though

Longshotrick 06-05-2006 10:31 PM

All right her's the deal, 4 should fire here after waking up on the class drop last out. If not I am out of bullets for tonight and will see ya'll another day and wish you the best.

Rick

Longshotrick 06-05-2006 10:32 PM

Good Job Toga, glad you hit something there.
18 dollars is 18 dollars.

Togacapper 06-05-2006 10:38 PM

Yup that's all it was. I'll take it as a saver taking it easy. I plan on making a big bet on Steppen Saturday.

Scurlogue Champ 06-05-2006 10:39 PM

I like the 4 also, Rick.

#5-Beer and Scotch for a roughie.

Togacapper 06-05-2006 10:39 PM

I like the 2 here a little on the drop also. and of course the Langfur in him

Scurlogue Champ 06-05-2006 10:40 PM

I really would like to see Steppenwolfer win on Saturday, Toga.

That thing just keeps running his race over and over. It will happen for him soon.

Here is a nice article on him I read today.

$2 Trifecta 15-4-12 558.30

Togacapper 06-06-2006 05:13 PM

Rick, Great call I watched it. Noticed the time of your post about 9 min befor post 2 min after I logged off..Damnit Rick After I logged off I figured what the hell Used the 2,8,14.....would of been 2,14,15. That horse came flying down the oustside.

Longshotrick 06-06-2006 05:17 PM

I was hoping you saw that today. I got me back to about even for the night so I'm happy for that. I had the quinells instead of the exacta and I made a wrong call there but I bet him to win.

I saw that it was an open mount earlier in the night and they announce Alan Robinson aboard and I went nuts, he wins 3-4 races a day in the country.

Wish you had the Exacta!!

Togacapper 06-06-2006 05:30 PM

Good for you getting about even. The QU wasn' that bad though 46 wasn't it?

Longshotrick 06-06-2006 05:47 PM

Actually 42$, I played it as my place wager saver instead of betting to place. The whole time I bet it I knew I should have gotten an exacta box but I could buy for more multiple times this way and not have to bet place as well.

If you play us long enough you'll start to notice the quinella pays more than the exactas ALOT. Routinely we'll get a 65$ Quinella and a 43$# exacta. I know that happens everywher and the Q is a good value overall most cases but we pay even larger than most, this time I wasn't that lucky that exacta was a healty $130.

I hit two quinella pools last year when I was the only ticket, one time I had a 9/2 shot that I played with all and a 17-1 came in with him, not that crazy, and I was the only ticket in North America, got back 1,900.00

That happens alot during week nights at a quarter till 2 am and only 40 people are playing us on their computers around the country, a lot of crazy payouts.

Say what you want about our product but there is PLENTY of money to be made here just betting nickels and dimes because 85% of the money is dumb money. People have no clue about us and are just dumping money in.
Just the opposite is true when Saratoga and Del Mar roll around I've got to beat guys like you that may be making a living at it. Don'y get me wrong I love that racing and bet it but have no allusions to really making a profit.

If you hang around long enough you'll start to see that we are printing money here 7 days a week and the best part is nobody knows about it.

I won't be betting tonight because it is a Tuesday Night, The best night of racing and quite simply, I never win on Tuesday and Friday nights so I just gave up, but I'll be firing tomorrow and Thursday for sure.

Good Luck with all you wagers today and Tonight!

Rick

Longshotrick 06-06-2006 05:59 PM

God Bless Indiana Downs, just had a 15-1 shot killed 'em!!!!!!!!

Longshotrick 06-06-2006 06:02 PM

I was going to throw that in at the end of my last post but I didn't have that much confidence , just had a hunch shipped in from Mountaineer and was working like a beast but threw in a cluncker when they ran him short on the dirt, he had been running on the grass at MRN, so I figured they were aiming for this and Pompel stayed aboard ...... Yes!! It's great to be right every now and then.

Rick

Togacapper 06-06-2006 06:08 PM

Ohhh no I don't play like that Rick either.I wish I was good enough to make living @ this. I play most of my money through in the 6 weeks here in Saratoga. Like to play Aus during the weekend and occasionally during the week just becuase I love the racing there . My friend Skippaway likes to fire pretty hard. It's nice to listen others peoples opinion while playing Aus. Makes it more interesting and definitley has made me look @ things different playing there. But over all I play because I love the game and the competition and excitment it brings....Also the good times.

Togacapper 06-06-2006 06:09 PM

Nice Hit....

Longshotrick 06-06-2006 06:34 PM

I could never make a living either because mainly.... I bet every race and bet the same when I LOVE something as when I barely have an opinion. Two major mistakes.

It is nice to bet all year long and at least be up a thousand or so. It's like getting paid to do your favorite hobby, that's the way I look at it.

I may make Saratoga this season, my best friends father is the Racing Commissioner in New Jersey and they have a box, I've been meaning to go for the past 3 seasons.

Rick
