I think they have round robin playoffs to determine actual medal play, but that's a guess. |
Curling is just glorified shuffleboard. Those rocks cost 3200.00 each.

too long a read for me but I don't care about the olympics
Well done, Canada, you Own The Odium
It is hard to say whether Canada’s Own The Podium programme has been a bigger disaster in terms of sport or public relations. Gold medal in both categories, I think. The idea was for Canada to emerge as gracious hosts of the Winter Olympics and glorious winners as well. Alas, the Canadians have come across as a bunch of mean-spirited, chippy, unsporting losers. Things have come to a pretty pass when you find yourself rooting for the United States. But I really have been cheering for stars and stripes rather than maple leaves. The Canadian shenanigans in Vancouver have alienated the entire world. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/spo...cle7041547.ece |

if there is 1 guy sitting with his feet up and big smile on his face, proud of his accomplishment it's geoff bodine. it took about 10 years but the Bo-Dyn sled project paid off in GOLD. he jumped in and helped give the USA bobsledders American made equipment. :tro: :tro: :tro:
