His show isn't sold to radio stations, it's given away. That's why he has any viewership at all, I'd guess - the small, local radio stations (think rural Iowa, middle of nowhere Kansas) get him for free to fill their air time. If these stations didn't have Rush, they'd have to repeat the local high school football game program at 12:30pm on a weekday.

i know we're facing a tough time right now, but it absolutely pales in comparison to what the haitians are suffering. i don't begrudge any aid sent to them. will some go to the wrong people? of course, just like the tax dollars we spend here at home. i can't imagine going days without even the most simple resource-water.

He's gone beserkers these past few years. I used to listen to him maybe 15 years ago. Can't listen without getting sick to my stomach now. Maybe the drugs fried his brain, but I suspect he's just an old, angry bigot watching the world leave him and the other ignorant racists far behind. I agree with you lets get our people out and the hell with Haiti. Where were they when 9/11 happened and what about Hurricane Katrina. Im sure they were looting in the streets in thier country. If i was on a boat and saw some Haitians trying to illegally enter our country I would make sure that whatever they are floating on capsizes. Why should our taxpaying money go to helping others out when we have American citizens who cant afford to buy food and clothing and are living on the streets. America needs to take care of Americans first. I also wish this countries leaders would tell the UN where to go. The UN is one of the biggest if not the biggest waste of an organization there is. All they do is cry USA please help us out. Who is supplying most of the peace keeping troops? What about giving the most aid? Someone tell me has the UN done anything?
