Here's the ticket......this is a tough leg. Keeping the fingers crossed.

Rootdog1 05-08-2009 11:21 PM

but in the money 50% of the time....this race was clear to me, the 4 towers over them with Frank...and Razor Cut has a trainer that can suprise. The next race was the one that drove me crazy. Who knows...that is why this pk4 is gonna pay well

I actually thought that Congaree Park might get a loose lead, plus he just missed running for 100k. You could make a case for that horse, in my opinion the same can't be said about Doggie Bear.

SCUDSBROTHER 05-08-2009 11:22 PM

The reason I can't play tonite is that fkn 7th. Any of those can take that. I can't trust the 4 or 6 in the 6th. Need to go 3 deep in the last. Too hard.

Rootdog1 05-08-2009 11:35 PM

Yellow Lambo with the pre mature move.

I hit the tri, but I had him included on top I thought he was a winner when they turned for home, maybe moved a bit too soon.

Matt - my thoughts were that Doggie Bear was dropping way down - that was the only thing I saw that might entice some, but also thought based on his form that after 9 starts you kinda know what you've got and was a strong play against - Congaree Park, to me was a similar play in that mdn 80 isn't that far removed from msw and would have needed to move up 10+ points to wrangle these and had just paired 65 bsfs off that 100k and looked like he would regress

it helped that the track isn't exactly playing to the front end, but no way to have known that at the start of the bet... ;)

Bad luck I guess... he was 12-24 ITM coming into that race but only 1-24 on the year... that's tough to do

Is the 3 in the last a late scratch?

The 3 scratched in the last...so you would get the post time fav..who I think will be the 1 or the 11. Strong move by the way using the 3 at 30-1

Rootdog1 05-08-2009 11:52 PM

this race is insane...so tough

No matter what, that horse loses ground late. That's a real puss. Look 2 races back. Same s-h-i-t. He's a mental mess. See, even when he won, bitch was giving ground late.

MaTH716 05-09-2009 12:00 AM

If the 7 hits...holy crap

Rootdog1 05-09-2009 12:08 AM

doc...you gotta pray the 11 ends up the fav....I would bet whatever that is in your account on the 11 to win...and maybe some on the 2.

Good luck..pulling for you

Thanks, I couldn't get a good feel for the 8th. I feel like I really could have gone 5-6 deep. That's why I only played a pick 3.

wac 05-09-2009 12:10 AM

quick ? since doc had the 7 on his ticket orginally and the 3 scratches he gets the race fav but he already had that on his ticket. Does he get some money back b/c of the duplicate number on the ticket?

would get an extra payout if he already has the fave and it wins

He should get a buck to the post time favorite for every scratch he played. Pmac and I are live to the 1, dead on the board though, but both of us like this one here.

wac 05-09-2009 12:14 AM

sorry i misread the odds i ment to say the 9 but now looks like 11 will be fav. thanks for answering my question.

Rootdog1 05-09-2009 12:15 AM

I see the 1 or 11 winning this one....with the 14 a long shot

Thank you for coming and have a safe trip home.............$200

docicu3 05-09-2009 12:16 AM

I remember hearing that Channing Hill wasn't riding and then they asked for J Armstrong to contact the jocks room. They must have scratched the 3 after deciding no one could or no one would be offered the ride on the 3. I threw the 3 in because of the trainers percentages. So if I understand my ticket will get the post time favorite no matter what. I like the 7 because of the cutback.
Who knows?? I'll take any of them and be more than glad......root for me folks.
