The Indomitable DrugS 02-25-2009 05:38 PM

Cuvee with the rider for sure.

I can't remember who lost the rider in that race.

Danzig 02-25-2009 05:39 PM

i remember watching that race, but can't remember who did the dumping either!

The Indomitable DrugS 02-25-2009 05:47 PM

I got it wrong. I didn't remember any loose horse the year Cuvee won it - but he was always braided like that.

It's Private Vow (another Asmussen runaway winner of the Futurity) Asmussen braids a lot of horses up like that.

The loose horse was some Serpe longshot I think.

The final time for the seven-furlong event was 1:24 on a fast track.

You know, this is way more difficult when you white out the horse's name on the saddle cloth!

The Indomitable DrugS 02-26-2009 03:34 PM

Gorella and maybe Pommes Frites inside of her?

Defenitely looks like Leperoux and Marty Schwartz silks.

Yup, very good.. it's amazing Gorella was able to win that with all the ground she had to close.

KirisClown 02-26-2009 05:11 PM

One more for today...

The Indomitable DrugS 02-26-2009 05:18 PM

Yup...

You're unstoppable.. I'm going to start posting racing pics from Japan..

KirisClown 02-27-2009 02:27 PM

Name both...

Holland Hacker 02-27-2009 02:42 PM

Wonder Again and Riskaverse at Belmont. I'm going to guess in the Flower Bowl.

KirisClown 02-27-2009 02:43 PM

You got em both... Very good.

Holland Hacker 02-27-2009 03:18 PM

Obviously it is a Melnyk horse with Johnny V up. I do not know who it is but I'm thinking its a filly. I almost want to say Mery Vale or marmony Lodge but I don't think so. I could cheat and look at my American Racing Manuals, but that would be cheating.

03 Ballerina

pgiaco 02-27-2009 03:45 PM

I think the outside horse in the Bohemia Stable silks is Shine Again, guessing Harmony Lodge on the rail.

KirisClown 02-27-2009 04:52 PM

You guys got it.. Harmony Lodge denied Shine Again a third consecutive Ballerina win...

KirisClown 02-27-2009 05:03 PM

Name all three...
