When I was living in Australia, a trainer told me that anytime a horse was returned from Japan or Hong Kong that it would lose it's mind and cower in the stall if an asian walked by or was anywhere around. Apparently they are pretty rough on them, this is just hearsay though. And more Hong Kong than Japan due to the constant back and forth with the Aussies and Hong Kong runners. |
