comments: got the easy lead on the front end that I wanted. Horse folded, and a couple unlikely rivals ran big in the stretch to photo him out of third.

I think you're the wrong Fisher....Playing more like Carrie than Bobby and sinking fast

comments: the stars alligned on a tough betting race and the clouds let loose the terenchal downpour. The pick was then naturally Sailor's Cap who swept by foes as lightning flashed to win by half a dozen open lengths.

the colonial feed has the colonail fountain on for 10 minutes straight for race 10. I want to see if the hotwalker I know is at colonial for this race. I actually had a tip on a horse, but the race went off the turf and now the value on my horse is negative zilch.

they didn't show the paddock area once:mad:. I guess they don't want to get the camera crew wet. Or they went in to dry off after the feature.

now scratches changes is up forever

your attention please

race 10 is cancelled

If a person is seriously trying to make money in the long run, they will only make bets that they think they have an edge on. If you have a horse that you think is the best horse in the race and you estimate that he has a 50% chance of winning the race, then you would have an edge betting him if he was 6-5. If he was 4-5, you would be making a losing bet in the long run.

I have no idea whether Bobby knows what he's doing or not. But I have no problem with his methods or reasoning. His thought process is correct. If you consistently make bets with a positive ROI, you will make money over time. What it will come down to is whether or not he knows what he's talking about when he makes his estimations of what chance a horse has of winning or hitting the board or whatever.

comments: that was a funny race. I thought Dominguez might wire the field, but he didn't break well, and opted to hold his horse back and sit a trip. The 50-1 speed from the far outside who is supposed to be caught way wide(outside my horse) on the 1st turn gets the easy lead. Dominguez has to make a premature wide move(or does he?), and ends up 2nd. The race ends up being won by the 3horse who was 7/2 ml going off at 9-1! because he was an epic failure at small stakes and was dropping back to his claiming 25 class.

well, we hit it, just dont know to what extent, yet. Good thing too, because I told him Six Peaks was a lock, and that the 9th will provide a BOMB. I look smart now, but that can all change with chalk winning the next two.

What did Six ?Peaks pay? What did the ticket cost for $1?

nice one Declans:tro:

declansharbor 06-24-2008 02:31 PM

Thanks BF. I have my friend over here thinking its easy to hit p3's like that. I told him they are not easy, that we took the caveman route, and wouldnt have done so without such a strong opinion on Six Peaks. I also told him that we invested too much, but for someone who works for the city (aka stealing money, easiest job ever) I guess its all about having a winner.

I wish we played the all/all/six peaks or the all/six peaks/ all, but they say hindsight is 20/20.. That 80-1 bomb in the 6th would have been an ideal result, had we played it that way.

need a longshot in the 8th or 9th

Rooting for Clickitorticket (The 9 horse with Eriluis Vaz in the irons) as we just called a $20 WP bet in on him. If not this shot, then may it be another. The 1 horse scares us though.
