Gee..I think I was just talking about CC Sabbathia with one of the seers here.

Observe:

Mr. Cy Young has a 10 hitter going after 3 innings tonight........ ( I don't believe in that old wives tale stating....if you say it--well you've jinxed it.)

7 runs given up....although only all of them are earned runs.

Mr. MainCourse ,sir....how do you do it?

Mortimer 04-11-2008 07:10 PM

Of course with an .050 batting average..Jason Michaels just HAD to start in right.

No way he's going to replace the Yankee Clippper , D.Dellucci, in left....not as long as DD's hitting .250 he's not.

The Bid 04-11-2008 07:34 PM

I cant take much more Michaels, hes s hit the bed once again.

CC is fat slob. He cant take the pressure in his contract year. What a dumb douche not to resign, he will never have another year like his last. Byrd isnt dressed tonight he flew over to Romania for HGH treatment

Mortimer 04-11-2008 07:46 PM

Birdie flew.....ror!

I tried to explain Sabbathia's well documented head problems to HorseOffCourse...but he just ain't buyin' it.

Say.....how's the Cavs rotation doing tonght?

Do we have one?

They are very close to dreaming about being.....something.

Called the Radiators or something stupid like that.

They're probably getting the snot kicked out of them, too.

Mortimer 04-11-2008 07:58 PM

:)

Mortimer 04-11-2008 08:05 PM

To bad they yanked CC... I thought he had a shot at a 30 hitter....ah really did.

The Bid 04-11-2008 08:05 PM

Monsters out of the playoffs
Galdiators who knows
Indians getting smoked
Cavs who cares

The Cleveland Lions Minor league football team is supposed to be unreal this year.

I need the Jays on the money line, parlay with the Tigers. I know better than to touch the Indians with "Heres Johnny" He hit another bomb tonight, 3 on the year

Mortimer 04-11-2008 08:07 PM

Oh boy.

And I didn't even know about these Lions! Oh well...they'll probably feed them to the Christians.

HJ is a real clutch hitter..as you know.God knows where we'd be tonight without him.

The Bid 04-11-2008 08:10 PM

He always comes through when you need him.

TheSpyder 04-11-2008 08:15 PM

Missed it. I don't have HBO.

Mortimer 04-11-2008 09:43 PM

Neither do I....but you are in for one real treat.

Go to youtube...and stay there.

:)

I mean go there and type in Gotti HBO. Select the first of 2 selections...and then you will be led to the listings where you can see 1 through14..the complete deal there....in an average of 6 minutes or so per segment...NO commercials.

Rileyoriley 04-11-2008 09:46 PM

I will do that tomorrow night. I'm heading for bed shortly. busy weekend coming up.

Mortimer 04-11-2008 09:46 PM

Thank you for that important announcement...God knows I can rest easy now.

Mortimer 04-11-2008 09:47 PM

Probably not the brightest thing I've ever said.

Mortimer 04-11-2008 10:17 PM

Well lets not get ridiculous here.

Mortimer 04-11-2008 10:21 PM

I have a correction.

Sabbathia left two runners on when yanked....and both scored. So he gave up NINE earned runs!!...in just THREE innings!!

I'd like to see MainCourse wiggle out of stinky-poo for that colossally inept performance.

But CC's era is still under 12.

Fine work.

Mortimer 04-11-2008 11:07 PM

Well it's been great typing with all you Chatty Cathy's.

Let's play it for BlackBerryBilly tomorrow:

I can't. He has been dreadfully abysmal this year...yes stinky-poo. Unless he's hurt, I really don't think he's a 12 ERA pitcher. He obviously will fall a bit from what he did last year, but I think he'll be better in his starts as the year goes on. Can you really do worse than 12 hits and 9 earned runs in 3 plus innings?? I still think you're looking at 12-16 wins and a near 4 ERA for the fat guy this year. And that will be ok.

(Although you may have a point about his head-case-dom...he certainly helped them get INTO post season last year, but once there was not the same pitcher...of course neither was Carmona minus one bug game...but if he is that mental...this is contract year...each start like today and his massive pay-day drops and drops. And that could affect him and will. I still think he'll revert at least to pre-2005 form at worst.) Overall I think he's a good guy (I don't think he ever had chosen one status in Cleveland!! Don't remember visages of the fat man on downtown skyscrapers!!). Minus his rookie year when it was the last of their original Jacobs field glory years, he pitched for a lot of bad teams and never complained at all and was extremely, extremely good from the 2nd half of 2005 through last year. Been a really good player in Cleveland. I just can't massacre good players in the town as you guys do.
