She is late to the party.....

tiggerv 12-28-2007 12:47 PM

LOL, i was hoping to get at least 3-1. Too many degenerates here.

Scav 12-28-2007 12:48 PM

you will get 5/2 on her I think

BillW 12-28-2007 12:51 PM

Lot's of cash piling in on top of that early "insider" money :D

Riot 12-28-2007 12:51 PM

Looks a bit lathered between her hind legs ... Rosemary was a good choice for her. Good luck, everyone!

TheSpyder 12-28-2007 12:52 PM

We need an offshore DT account. We're killing ourselves

pdrift1 12-28-2007 12:56 PM

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Cajungator26 12-28-2007 12:57 PM

Damn, what a nice filly... tough trip for her. :(

Scav 12-28-2007 12:57 PM

Well, if she gets a cleaner trip she blows by that rat.

TheSpyder 12-28-2007 12:57 PM

WOW, that's a race horse right there!

pdrift1 12-28-2007 12:57 PM

that hurts she should have won

jwkniska 12-28-2007 12:58 PM

KNS was the best horse, but had a horrid trip. Should get in the winners circle next race. Good luck to all of you involved.

otisotisotis 12-28-2007 01:00 PM

very impressive! she's was gobbling up the ground at the end.

tiggerv 12-28-2007 01:00 PM

Tough trip. Have to watch the replay again but connections have to be proud of the effort. Good looking filly and definitely the best of that bunch.

Riot 12-28-2007 01:03 PM

Wow, Rosemary knows what the heck she is doing, though - did you see how she steadied her just a tad on the backstretch, knowing she'd get caught behind those horses, leaving herself open to the outside?

She got delayed just about 3 seconds after the turn when they closed her off and she had to tell the filly, "yes, go now!" - but wow, the filly opened up nicely and ran beautifully for her! Looked great! What a great race!

Well done, Chuck and crew! Congrats, Dee Tee - not too shabby!

Somebody tell me there was no claim! Steve?????

declansharbor 12-28-2007 01:03 PM

If she runs in the same company next out, she wins.
Had alot of horse in her at the wire. Very encouraging effort.
Best of luck with her, I'm excited for those involved.

sumitas 12-28-2007 01:03 PM

Great start for her and the stable !!!

Hate to see she didnt win, but you gotta give the winner credit. Came from dead last and 5 wide and closed into a crawling pace (1/2 went in :50 and 3/4 in 1:16) Would have been nice to see KnS not have trouble at the top of the stretch, but that is the chance you take when riding the rail and saving ground for the entire race, the hole doesnt always open.

That being said, the horse i bet ran 4th:o

wiphan 12-28-2007 01:07 PM

Congrats to all. She had a ton left and just couldn't find a good opening in time.

Riot 12-28-2007 01:09 PM

Good spot by Chuck! Can't wait for her next race, and I'd love it to be at Tampa with Rosemary riding - there's a little turf stakes in February .... :D

Dude...thats crawling.

AeWingnut 12-28-2007 01:11 PM

she didn't get the trip I was hoping for. I thought she would let them go and sit chilly then walk by them in the stretch. She showed some fight in her. Disappointed she was denied the win but happy she ran well.

hope everything is ok and everyone is safe

True. I think I saw her swishing her tail and looking a bit cranky at the end, maybe would like to go back to a mile - but yes, she hung on very bravely for her win.

pdrift1 12-28-2007 01:12 PM

beth, any idea if someone down there is getting a photo from the track photographer. would like to get one. he must have got a very nice shot at some point?

Riot 12-28-2007 01:12 PM

Dang it - somebody has to be in contact by telephone, someone tell me Socks or TC lead her away after the race!

pmacdaddy 12-28-2007 01:14 PM

Awesome effort! Better trip, she wins for fun IMO.

Smoked the Exacta which makes the 2nd place finish even sweeter...

Her trip wasn't bad luck. Rosemary could have come off the rail at the 1/2. She did run very well.

Just spoke to Chuck.. She came back great.

Rosemary was pissed that she couldn't get the win... Said we ran the best horse. The #1 backed up in her face badly on the turn which was the start of the trouble. The 10 bumped the 6 who bumped KNS, and by the time Rosie could gather and get out, the 10 had already had the jump...

Chuck very satisfied with this first start as I hope Dee Tee partners and fans are... Appreciate the support.

About 15 down at Oldsmar and they're having a nice time... We'll get that elusive "W" along the way soon!

MaTH716 12-28-2007 01:17 PM

I thought she relaxed wonderfully on the backstretch (almost to the point where I tought that she was done). Especially after it looked like it got a little tight going into the first turn. Then she exploded when clear in the stretch. Tough beat, but plenty of positives to be taken out of the race.

Riot 12-28-2007 01:18 PM

Thanks, Caj! Whew! What a party in Tampa this afternoon :)

Scav 12-28-2007 01:18 PM

There are a boatload of possiblities for her towards the end of the January. Looking at the condition book now

January 17th - Alw/Opt Claim 4+, Abt 1Mile(T)
January 19th - Alw NW2, 4+, Abt 1Mile(T)
January 27th - Alw/Opt Claim 4+, 8.5F (T)

And many more

mclem10011 12-28-2007 01:18 PM

Tvg....

Only showed the stretch drive! They made it sound like a troubled trip, once she got in the clear she ran on very well for second. Congrats to all, for a good second.:)
