They were Clapton's first band I believe.

Surely you've hear of " Sunshine of Your Love. "

Dad used to like that song.

You're right....I'm confused.

But Proud Accolade did beat a big field in his debut. He was the most impressive 2YO winner that meet ( with Sun King being the most impressive loser ).

It would have hurt more if I was older than 6 when it was released.....and if it mattered that I'm ancient.

For the record, I know who Eric Clapton is. Making people feel old is a favorite pasttime of mine.

I think we figured that out.

Well, maybe not Cajun, but the rest of us.

Yeah, yeah... same difference.

Off topic (like the last couple of pages on this thread), but do you think that Andy kind of looks like Chester Bennington (Linkin Park?) I saw a pic of him the other day and thought he kind of resembled him.

I've been around long enough to understand that there are very few things I can say that will bother you. :p

I don't know about that. That's like saying I look like Michael Imperioli. Yeah we're both Sicilian and have out of control eyebrows, but it's stretching it...

There's an idea! If one of his "sure thing" selections at Saratoga doesn't win...add those features plus the "dunce" cap! :D

Everybody makes the Elvis comparison. Hell, there are people who have refused to believe I am not him.

I guess they don't know he has an accent.

Betting the Preakness

I will be stuck at home with the kids handicapping and watching Saturday's Pimlico's races including the Preakness. Is there a website I can go to that will have live odds on the Preakness throughout the day?

It might be better to keep your personal feelings (fantasies) private.

They are consumed by the Dub anyway, so let's not open that can of worms.

You're right, of course  . I guess I need to 'Just Zip It' (a very nice looking filly, if you haven't seen her.)

sumitas 05-15-2007 09:50 PM

It is vary rare that any Preakness horse finishes ahead of any Kentucky Derby horse in the Preakness, much less win. The odds are very remote that any horse other than the KD horses will be in the top 3.
