How hilarious if TVG just called GemStar and was like "We would like to buy TVG and we have a boat load of cash that we want to pay you"

Oh I agree 100% at least for me. I wouldnt be surprised if TVG was sold or merged by HRTV. When you think about it, it is silly that all of these tracks arent shown on one wagering outlet. I could careless if it was HRTV or TVG. Just give me one account to bet all tracks.

It would be wise for tvg's on air talent to stay neutral on this matter because I have a feeling Churchill and Magna are going to team up and try to buy it.

TVG is shooting itself in the foot with this "We don't need CD" stuff. I guess they think tracks like Sunland and Turf PAradise will make up for it.

Churchill and Magna have worked together (in that international stuff) so they could easily buy TVG. That would be friggin awesome. All the best tracks, all the time, no BS contracts or anything

but would they still need two channels? that's a lot of racing to stuff into one.

They wouldn't need two channels, BUT they could have a commentary channel with specific races, and one that just shows races/post parades/paddock shots

i remember when hrtv first started. imo it looked like it was done out of someone's basement. but it's like they've switched places now, hrtv is very well done, and tvg is hurting. go figure.

I think all of TVG's on air talent needs to go back to handicapping school.
