what a picture! what a pretty baby.

i like fupeg, altho i did root for red bullet in the wood. gratifying to see him turn the tables in the preakness.
but fupeg is a nice looking horse, and won the derby for his old man. he's not a fave of mine, but he's ok.

I actually was never really a fan (of FP)...I respect what he did but he wasn't for me...and I thought his head was a bit common...but that's because I'm a b*tch:D

I amuse myself by guessing which horses who won't enter the gate are Fupegs. I should find another hobby. :D

What's not to like? A grandson of Mr Prospector, by an AP Indy mare. Pletcher trained, partly owned by Tabor. Certainly has the profile of a Derby contender. His stride was beautiful.

Not so sure I like the plan of keeping him in Cali, but at least the weather shouldn't hinder his training.

Had a little win play on him in the Sham, so for now he's my Derby horse. I love seeing Mr P in the sire's pedigree for my Derby horses - not that there is any shortage of those types any given year.

Ravel is the breeding cross of two Drysdale runners: Fusaichi Pegasus with an A.P. Indy daughter. So far he reminds me more of Indy than Fupeg. In my world that is very good. I am not on his bandwagon because horses I follow often have bad luck. I am a little superstitious.
