the Beds suck at MGM, I wanted to go to sleep off a 46 hour gambling session and I had springs basically popping up in my grill the whole time...drove me nuts..

I had the Marquee Suite. My daughter and her husband treated me and my wife for my birthday. The MGM over booked for the holiday weekend and we had to spend the first night in the Marriot across from the Convention Center. We booked ajoining rooms 6weeks in advance and got put out in the street. It was a bummer till my Daughter call a few friends and the next morning we are in the Marquee Suite for the rest of the weekend. They refunded our room rate and comped two nightes in the future. The MGM alsio picked up the dinner bill in their Italian restruant to the tune of $596 for 6 people with no drinks. It started out bad, but ended up perrty good.

In my opinion the best sports books are The Wynn(Plush) Ceasers Palace, The Hilton still has a big sports book, but the hotel is very dated. I have not been in Bally's sports book in a few years. You have the tram station at bally's and that is the best way to get around. I rent a car only so I don't have to ride with those crazy cab drivers. The car never leaves the Valet.

thanks DTS.. I agree, can't go overboard on a maiden like this.. but she's worth having a little fun with... Say keying or including in P-3's and P-4!! Good luck to anyone using her on Saturday.

Cpt.Bodgit 07-08-2006 03:16 PM

She didn't break too well but closed on a hot pace. Not a bad race at all 1st time out. I only hope that she is at Saratoga on the 29!!

Downthestretch55 07-08-2006 05:09 PM

Green, green, green.
At least she got 3rd. Paid decent too.
So, if you bet across, you did ok.
I also would like to see what she does next out...hopefully at Toga.

Cpt.Bodgit 07-08-2006 06:42 PM

Made a little dough throwing her up and down on the tri with the 1,6,9 and across the board. I know her odds won't be near 15-1 next time out but she will improve a great deal off that race.

I just placed a win & place bet... nice 8.20 show price.... Im sure she will be beating maidens shortly !!

Scav 07-11-2006 09:33 PM

Would you believe that I totally forgot about this horse until I glanced at the screen to see the friggin thing play 8.20 to show....I could have easily had $200 to show on this mule at the odds and info that we had, that added to frustration

gales0678 07-11-2006 09:36 PM

wait for him at the spa - if luzzi stays there will be value on this horse again

don't want to see a big name jock at the spa get on

Cpt.Bodgit 07-20-2006 12:51 PM

Any word on a return? I'll be making my first trip of the year to the Spa on the 29th and would love to see her at 5-1 or higher that day.
