You are right, Commanche RUN was a Euro. The breeder still has him though, Commanche TRAIL that is.

Yeah he was an allowance type sprinter, and his claim to fame will always be that he was the rabbit in the Holy Bull Travers.

I would say these would be the top 5 that I can remember:

Alydar, Slew O Gold, Risen Star, Easy Goer, Point Given

Im going out of my mind on this thread.

how the hell can so many think horses like Afleet Alex and Point Given were better than Holy Bull and Skip Away?

Who was the horse that was coming through the tunnel and fliped over on its way to the Derby? Began with an E and thought the horse would be special. It was either the Derby or Breeders Cup and I believe the horse was a 3 yo????

Thanks Hossman, I thinks that was the horse. I really liked her and never found out what happened...Damn, what a shame!!

Also it was only five years ago, 2001 BC i believe.

Exogenous was going to easily win the BC that year too... terrible shame what happened to her...

a beautiful filly, and man she could run. three ring had a similar occurrence, in the walking ring before a race. danehill as well.
