No Kiddin' S2S...
I remember a day when i was taking "lunch count" for the cafeteria crew with the 3rd graders. The date was Feb. 2.
Me- Who wants to have lunch today?
Kid- What is it?
Me- Well, you all know what day it is..it's groundhog day.
Jacob- (waving his raised hand franticly)...MEEE!!! YUM!!!!

that's exactly what i asked on the first page -- not one person has said anything about polytrack, all they have done is point out that the title of the thread is false -- which actually is serving to debunk the entire point of the post in the first place.

it's like oracle posting a thread saying "the sky is orange" and you coming in and saying "no it is not."

and them him saying " SEE! GOTCHA! YOU FELL FOR IT!"

ridiculous.

Arl Jim,
you werent one of the folks that was aimed at.
that being said, as usual I've sat here and watched every race from Calder, Belmont, keeneland, the first 3 at santa Anita, and lowly Finger Lakes(its my vice, I like the place).
If you wanna debate trip notes at any of those places fire way immediately.
You really missed my point.

Honestly, I have no opinion (or care) either way, in terms of how polytrack will influence the handle by meet's end. I just find how the numbers shook out terribly interesting (as even people like euro said they aren't betting the stuff).

Dude I really appreciated that info.
I was looking at it for an hour looking at the patterns and checking out the corresponding days as far as weekday/weekend stuff went.
Thank you very much.

No i'd rather just stick to the subject of this thread and the claim that you made. You said that imbeciles have seen the title and without even having watched the race have rushed in to support poly-track. I have not seen any evidence of that. I didn't miss your point at all, I just felt it wasn't justified.

My sarcasm is usually unapprecated but Seattle and I have spoken on messenger enough over 3 years that he gets me. I'm an acquired taste.
I see people arguing the most vehemently over races and the like that i know they haven't watched or seen by the very eneral context with which they speak about them.
I'm willing to bet that staunchest of polytrack advocates on here haven't seen more than a few races, if that, on the stuff and they are telling us all about it.
Its frustrating.

;)

How about "We are the World". I wanna be Ray Charles. You strike me as a Joe ****er type. Seattle can be Stevie Wonder since he obviously can't see a damn thing(I base this on the race analysis that he gives).

They didn't show it on the live feed(ambulance) but I noted the lack of a horse in the winners circle after the race and thats why I pulled the chart to see Scuds.

eurobounce 10-19-2006 04:37 PM

Seems to me that a certain someone didnt watch the race and heard a horse was vanned off. That certain person then assumed the race was on Poly and posted a thread without getting all the facts. Then that certain someone was caught and then tried to backtrack.

Best idea I have heard in a very long time.

Baba,
You gotta give me credit on that one.

I think it is very poor taste to use a broken down horse as a way to be sarcastic and to try to trap people into posting something stupid.

These folks don't even watch races yet impart a ton of wisdom about them every day. I just don't see how you can impart wisdom on something you obviously aren't even paying attention to.

I think you have lost this bet.
