Well, color me shocked...

Quote:

Two key documents are missing from the Iran nuclear deal submitted to Congress, and the two leaders of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee want the Obama administration to hand them over, Chairman Bob Corker said Tuesday.

The Tennessee Republican said he and ranking Democrat Ben Cardin of Maryland wrote to request the missing documents, which he said deal with an Iranian military facility at Parchin and a side agreement Iran reached with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

"We sent a letter today, both of us, asking the administration for the documents," he said.

A Corker spokesperson later told the Washington Examiner:

"Senators Corker and Cardin sent a private letter to Secretary [of State John] Kerry requesting two additional documents associated with the Iran nuclear agreement that were left out of the materials required to be submitted to Congress per the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act that the president signed into law."

Apparently the huckster is turning to trump-isms to try to move up in the polls. How else can this rank hyperbole be explained?

This is the most idiotic thing, this Iran deal. It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people.”
What's Huck's plan?..We invade Iran:eek:...or bomb the shiit out of them?

Hit the road huckster, Trumpster got you by 20 lengths:D

Danzig 07-26-2015 08:34 PM

Whats hucks plan? He has no plan other than to be critical of obama.

The real plan in the immediate future for this vomitous mass of po-lie-ticians is to make the fox 'news' debate. For a sizable portion of those running, the goal isnt the presidency. Its to build a fan base, to get book deals, to get invited to make speeches and lots of money. I figure that we will see large fields from now on. Not much risk, but much potential for monetary rewards.

2. Israel. As evidence that the Iran deal is bad, Republicans point to criticism from Israel. But they seem more interested in the rhetoric of Israeli politicians than in the judgments of Israeli security experts. At the July 23 hearing, Kerry read from an article that quoted supportive statements about the deal from the former leaders of two Israeli intelligence agencies. Republicans batted the quotes away. Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming scoffed, “That wasn’t even in the newspaper. That was a blog post.” Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina dismissed the statements as irrelevant because they didn’t come from elected officials. Why listen to experts when you can rely instead on quotes from politicians?

Another swell Iranian, Mr. Soleimani, goes to Moscow. Shopping trip?

Quote:

"Iranian Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani recently visited Moscow to meet with senior Russian leaders, according to two Western intelligence sources, despite a travel ban and U.N. Security Council resolutions barring him from leaving Iran.

Soleimani was first designated a terrorist and sanctioned by the U.S. in 2005 for his role as a supporter of terrorism. In October 2011, the U.S. Treasury Department tied Soleimani to the failed Iranian plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States at a popular restaurant in Washington, D.C. The Quds Force is the special forces external wing of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, responsible for supporting terrorist proxies across the Middle East.

U.N. sanctions have not yet been lifted against Iran, and Soleimani, as head of the Iranian Quds Force is sanctioned as part of Security Council Resolution 1747. He is prohibited to travel, and any country that lets him transit or travel is defying the sanctions. Russia is a permanent member of the Security Council and would have been aware of this restriction when meeting with him."

i doubt they ever muster enough votes to override a veto. no doubt a few will vote no, knowing ultimately it doesn't mean squat-except for reelection purposes of course.

Oh. Wow. Glad he found his principles...
not necessarily good ones.

Is this some kind of a joke? Who needs independent inspectors? We can trust Iran to police themselves. : "Iran, in an unusual arrangement, will be allowed to use its own experts to inspect a site it allegedly used to develop nuclear arms under a secret agreement with the U.N. agency that normally carries out such work, according to a document seen by The Associated Press."

Obama promised unprecedented verification. I will concede that it's certainly that.

In related news, O.J. Simpson's investigation into Nicole Brown Simpson's murder is ongoing.
