Dave, Baffert is as good as anyone with first time starters. I think the 4 is over bet on the board right now after failing to get the job done for a lower tag.

The pace figures have the 6 with an easy lead, but of course don't take into account the first time starters and Baffert's horse certainly can show speed. Keep in mind that at SA this meet in 5 1/2f dirt races the winner has been no worse than in 3rd at the 1/4 pole. I am going to bet the 6 to win and use Baffert's horse a bit with him (though a little cold on the board for a Baffert). Hope that is helpful.

I don't get Byrama, 7f a little short for him. The 8 could surprise at a price and the 5 offers good value here.

Luis Saez needs to ask Rosario to give him his jock strap back. What a schooling Rosario just gave him there. :wf

Sorry, Dave. The 6 had no excuse for folding like a tent like that. Coming off the turn I thought he might run off but just had nothing in the tank for the drive.

5 1/2's have been great betting races at SA, if you can figure out who is going to be 1,2 or 3 by the 1/4 pole you can narrow down the winner to one of those three.

SA 4

The 3 and 4 both can win, but both are over bet IMO. The 4 ran a nice race last time but was tiring towards the finish against lesser, doubt she gets much of a free ride on the lead again here and tough to win at 6 1/2 on the lead. The 3 had a nice setup last time but the 7 should get first jump on the 3 and looks capable to me at the price.

Nice job, Billy!

Once again I get second. Always the bridesmaid, rarely the bride. :wf

Too late for the 7 did not like the joke. How does lose this traveled 7 more ft.
Comes in third. Looks like he was bumped around the turn. Too me terrible ride.

Meant the 5

I agree. The race changed quite a bit after the 2 did not challenge the 4 for the lead. Guce did the 7 no favors by coming so wide on the final turn where it changes to dirt, he lost a lot of ground there. I took a note on the 7, she is fine in this class down the hill and could be live with a better set up next time out.
