yes, he was dreadful. and please, don't try to say what i do or don't understand about rule of law.
we can disagree about certain things, but don't try to say what i know.

executive orders have been around since washington, who issued 8. now, neither of us like the aca law, but that doesn't have bearing on what he can and cannot issue.
i respect consistency, and it always amazes me when people have one set of rules for one group of people, and a different set of rules for others...repubs vs democrats for instance. tell me, did you complain about every bush executive order?
since obama is actually righting a wrong, you still feel he is out of place with this?

randallscott35 11-14-2013 03:53 PM

Ok, so Bush was dreadful, and yet you lib clowns on here can't admit what an out and out failure Obama has been. Instead you resort to silly  instead of coming up with anything of an argument. I get it, you voted for him and its hard to admit he sucks. That's too bad.

oh, so i'm a lib now? and a clown?

can everyone copy and paste this, so when we have a gun rights discussion and i get told i'm a conservative clown, i can point to this?

i know that some like to label others, or put everyone in a box called 'black' or 'white' and don't see shades of grey....that's a shame.
i have been critical of obama many times over, and have presented plenty of evidence, so i don't know what it is you're talking about regarding arguments.
i did ask some questions of you, should this post in reply be construed as your answers? if so, they are wide of the mark.

oh, and i didn't vote for obama in either election, but nice try. anything else i can refute for you? i know it's difficult having your beliefs corrected, but perhaps you shouldn't be so quick to infer something?

The only clowns are ones that think there is a difference between the 2 parties and waste time fighting to the death defending either. Those are the clowns. Zig gets it.

randallscott35 11-14-2013 04:02 PM

Great then...and being for gun rights is not against all libs so that proves nothing. Just understand, when your only comment is ,:tro:, its hard to think you have much else to offer.

No doubt. We need a 3rd party. Our system is not setup for one to be successful. So pick your poison. ;)

i just don't understand it.

i guess people don't think. whatever obama, or bush, or whomever does, it's wrong because they do it.
would it be a good executive order? maybe. but it's bad, because he issued it? kill the messenger, even if it's a good message?

christ, where's john quincy adams when you need him? we could use more people like him in d.c. he pissed off various groups on a regular basis, depending on the subject. now, that's my kinda guy. he wasn't a party guy. he might be with you today, and against you two days ago...but that's because two days ago you had an idea on something that sucked. but today, your idea on another subject was spot on.
he was beholden to no one, nothing. he got voted out early on, and then voted in after his one term as president, and spent his last moments on earth in the House. his last word ever was a resounding 'no!', regarding texas.

i think i've offered plenty in this room. now, what you choose to pay attention to, or not, is your choice.
my point is that people like to label, i defy labels-for everyone, not just me. also, i won't call someone a name, because how do you take it back? randall, we don't disagree on everything...so, when i am on your side, tell me...how would it feel knowing you have a clown agreeing with you?

so, please, stick to the issues. if you cannot, and have to get personal, i'd prefer you put me on ignore. i'm not here for junior high b.s.

as for three parties...you could have three hundred, it won't matter.
as long as the people with money get to pull the strings, everything will be written by and for the people with money, to benefit them. what group is there to lobby for us, the common man? aren't we the largest 'special interest' group?

Randall..I gave the  because there is as much thought process behind that as was your casual "utter failure"..or whatever you wrote. Obviously we are polar opposites on policy, but I give BO the most credit for at least TRYING on immigration reform, trying on health care, trying on a REASONABLE Gun policy etc..Obviously the ACA is deeply mired with problems but the root of it is based on very sound principal I strongly believe. There is no way something this far reaching and of this magnitude was going to be launched error free. And again..I totally accept that this is WAY beyond error free, but the status quo sucks and if we don't try to improve as a country, what is our mission in the first place?

randallscott35 11-14-2013 04:15 PM

Even a clown can be right on some things. I'm glad you defy labels. No one is going to agree with everyone on everything. My point is that I can't see how there can be any disagreement that Obama has been an incredible failure as a president. I don't care what your politics are. You don't need a label for that. It is what it is.

Please help me see where we have improved as a country.Record income inequality. 50 million on food stamps...And the Fed is buying 70% of our debt each month, that's only reason we don't collapse back to '08. That's sustainable to you?

No thanks. And if the term clown is offensive to you than you need to get a grip...I don't put anyone on ignore. The whole concept is childish. Offer something, then I'm sure we will do just fine.

there was no way for anything to be moved along once the republicans gained the majority in the house. they'd made no secret at all what their agenda was. it wasn't jobs, immigration, gun reform, any of that. just stonewall anything obama wanted done-whether it was good or bad.

it's a shame, but not surprising, that the aca is having these problems. they had all this time to get it done, and it's embarrassing that the exchange and website are so...bad.
but, i find it somewhat funny that people are up in arms about their current plans being ditched. hello. it's all been out there for years, it's not like it suddenly snuck out of the bushes.

Danzig 11-14-2013 04:28 PM

hey, no problem randall...there's more than one way to skin a cat.

She's a blessing, for sure. She's my shadow... goes anywhere and everywhere her Daddy goes. Tells me all the time that I'm her best friend. Just turned 4 a few weeks ago, so that behavior wont last much longer. Gotta milk it for all its worth while I can.
I assume fatherhood is treating you well?

randallscott35 11-14-2013 08:39 PM

Much harder than I thought it would be...Girls are much easier than boys at least as babies...Lots of fun. Changes your priorities in a good way.
