They better not take this horse down. F'n Forest Boyce.

jms62 08-18-2013 03:53 PM

Lovely... I got moved up to second. And thank-you Mike Smith for turning a single on a lot of tickets into a horse that doesn't even hit the Super. I guess you only win when I don't bet you.

Lol....that's the truth.

It's interesting how someone as good as Mott can fire so many blanks.

I was also hoping they did not take the 4 down. Didn't have a lot on it but had the 4 over the 7.

pointman 08-18-2013 04:09 PM

I am losing faith in this game and am still steaming. Outrageous, they never get put up for me, just taken down.

Come on Point, the 4 herded the 7, and the horse between them, just before the wire. That's why the 7 couldn't get it's head down. Without the herding, the 7 wins it easily. It's a tough beat but the decision was easy.

I had no money on the race and I completely disagree.

JimmyEllis 08-18-2013 04:22 PM

yeah :tro:

I just got out in a big way for the past 2 days, with the 4 winning the 9th.
Wouldn't gotten zip otherwise.

A ****in' display of ineptitude for the ages, is corrected by a single double play. That's why I love this game.

That's fine. That's why so many stewards allow jocks to herd. If you're not allowed a clear run, intentionally, that's fine according to you, and others.

In this case, this horse herded twice and was taken down. Of course, if this were Castellano on a Brown horse, it'd stayed up.

jms62 08-18-2013 04:25 PM

Sweet mother of god. You know things are tough when you cancel a double with Channel Marker on top and replace it with a double with Partly Mocha.

LOL

I will watch the race again, but I didn't think it really had any impact on the result. The bigger issue is why anyone rides Forest Boyce who is an absolute joke. That horse can be a real serious racehorse with a real rider.

I have had about $3K go down the drain today whether you call it bad rides or questionable calls. It is beyond frustrating.

Whether it is Irad Ortiz with his completely boneheaded ride that cost me a nice win payout on Comandante and a huge double or Forest Boyce or a questionable call that cost me another huge double, I feel like I have been a victim of major felonies today. I feel like puking right now.

The horse should've come down, but I've seen a lot worse kept up. Also I don't think the 7 was interfered with much at all. The 3 just got squeezed and the 7 benefited from the ruling.

I can't believe Ortiz would willingly let a horse run off like that. I think it was the horse controlling that and not the jock.
