Sorry that I got the wrong impression. Whatever her size I hope that it comes with plenty of heart and determination.

Probably looking at a work on Sunday now. Track has been sloppy last few mornings and rain showers expected tonight as well.

Easy half of :50.2 for ONE REV this morning in first Monmouth drill. More detail to come from Chuck, but he said she went well..

One Revolution went nicely, breaking off eagerly under a tight hold and finishing well down the stretch under minimal urging. I actually had her a shading 50 but viewed the work from a different angle than the clockers do. She wasn't really too winded and recovered quickly and cooled out sound.
There is a 5 1/2f grass race (maiden 40k) on June 28th that is probably the main goal at this juncture. barring any unforeseen setbacks (fingers crossed) she should be pretty close to 100% for that spot.

Her great grandfather, Northern Dancer was small in stature and look where it got him! All she has to have is a big heart and determination.

I'm aware of her pedigree. thanks.

Working this am

Cannon Shell 06-04-2014 04:56 PM

Work was slow today as she didnt appear to be traveling well over the ground. However she had pulled a shoe half off sometime during the work which is most likely the cause for her not going as well as she usually does. Doesnt look like she did any real damage to her foot. Assuming she comes out well will probably wheel back on Monday or Tuesday.

Miker 06-16-2014 10:37 PM

Has she worked since the shoe incident? Still on target for the June 28th 7f turf race at Monmouth?

Kasept 06-18-2014 05:12 AM

Mike.. She worked back 3 days later (6/7) going a half in :50. Chuck will update when he gets back from OBS, but he postponed work Sat., worried she was developing a quarter crack. Should know more later today..

Miker 06-18-2014 01:56 PM

Ugh - just when you think she is getting back into racing form.

Kasept 06-19-2014 07:32 AM

Farrier looking at OneRev's foot today. Chuck will update later..

Cannon Shell 06-19-2014 05:12 PM

Her foot wasnt as bad as was originally feared. Will train light through the weekend and look at working her next Wednesday

Chuck/Steve,

Is there a targeted race at Monmouth soon for One Rev? Anxious to see her back in the starting gate again.
