I was f***** either way, Jim, but I think you got screwed there. Why should that horse come down because some doucebag on clearly the best horse in the race gets race ridden to the point that his jockstrap is all over the track and tries to go through a hole that does not exist? Bad call IMO.

It was a lock. Killed a 50 buck double in and out and my pick 4. Max pain.

Looking at the replay, the hole was a bit bigger then I originally thought, but still, the 2 should not have been there and the 5 came in on the 4 just as much as the 4 did on the 2. I am not sure what Rosario is supposed to do there.

Bottom line is that Lanerie caused everything because he lacks a f'n brain. He should never get a mount at the Spa, he is way out of his league here.

You know me never missed a chance to whine about a loss. I can't say I disagree with the take down.

I know that a lot of people have been down on him, but I don't think Corfu's last race is nearly as bad as some have made it out to be. But how in hell is Corfu 7-1 and Candy Dandy even money? :zz:

The worst part is that it's not as if he was just boxed in the entire race and couldn't do anything. He had several opportunities to switch out and instead tried to be cute and come up the inside. Just a total horseshit ride.

I completely agree, that was one of the biggest joke rides I have seen in a while. He had plenty of opportunity to switch to the outside and he wins for fun. He caused his own problem and was in a spot he should not have been in.

I still don't get what Rosario was supposed to do there.

Just saw a quote from Brett Calhoun on twitter. "Race riding is race riding, but I think he (Rosario) overdid it today. It endangered a lot of horses and riders and I hope he gets a long vacation to think about it. He is a great rider but that was uncalled for."

Shouldn't Calhoun be furious with the dolt he put on the back of that horse that almost destroyed a real nice horse instead of Rosario? If I were him I would be on the phone with Angel immediately.
