Reminds me of my boys, God, you can't tell'um anything :p I think The Tin Man only ran just hard enough to win, not so hard as to take it all out of him in his final prep. Just a thought. |

5 lengths? Are you sure about that one? Ez Edit....Sorry didn't see the later posts.. |

I just watched the replay, and WOW. Another outstanding performance by this lovely mare. I think that she can definitely hit the board in the Turf after watching her today. Sensational is the word...

If The Tin Man runs sets those splits in the Arlington Million, or any other race with the likes of English Channel and Cacique in there....they both run by him like he was standing still.
I agree with Richi...a gutsy effort, not his A game, but all out to hold off TH Approval and Artiste Royal is not the kind of effort you are looking for going into the BC. But, he is 8YO and he has to be getting tired after the year he has had. Even if he finishes off the board in the BC Turf, he has nothing to be ashamed of this year. |

Yes she's a filly. I'm not sure I'd discount her that quickly. We'll just have to wait to a while to see who they ship over to run against her. She looked good to me today. I'll wait a while. |

Nothing I disagree with. Gutsy, to say the least. Slow early fractions says a lot, and coming back from two bowed tendons and all the time off, yup. Nothing to be ashamed of. Let's see how he came out of this race before we talk about the BC for him. He was tested hard. DTS ps...check out the "joke of the day in "esoteric"...I put up two golf jokes just for you. |

Come on Rand...your a teacher....TEACH THEM!!!:D |
she looked good, real good. handled that field of older mares with ease. but as for november....big difference between the field today and what she'll face at churchill. that's not hating, that's the truth. maybe she'll step up to that challenge. sure would be nice....

I absolutely love that Showing Up is going into the mile. This horse is tough at the shorter distances, and he now has a race under his belt against older. He should move up from his last race. |
