Here in the 5th I used what I perceived to be the speed horse's (1-7) on top......

There have been 4 straight front running winners, but other than the 6 in the 4th, they have all been logical. The track could be playing a golden rail, just tough to tell right now since the majority of the sample were horses that made sense on the front end.

Another wire-to-wire winner at Aqu outlasting two highly touted filly's "Start It Up" and "Light Weight".

Andy has a very good eye but there are other ways to determine how tracks are playing........ this track has been playing to speed the entire card and until I notice a change I'll be leaning towards the early speed types with power numbers that are competitive.

You may be right about the bias after that last race.

Moonshine Bay should have been a pretty good clue that the track was favoring speed..... I'm really not trying to convince anyone about track weight - be your own judge or use Andy's comments as your barometer.

Just heard them say 5 straight wire-to-wire winners and Andy just stated that he is confused by today's racetrack!!!!

JimmyEllis 01-05-2013 02:12 PM

speed still strong on the GP turf
