the defense is terrible. Nnamdi may be the worst free agent bust ever. Rogers has talent, but no heart and is a dog and they should NOT resign him. Cole is over the hill. The secondary was the worst in football. after they fired Castillo, the eagles D made every QB they faced (exept one or two games) look like Joe Montana.

There are very few guys on the eagles defense who should be playing in the NFL.

Cox, Graham, Demeco Ryans, Kendricks, and maybe Thorton, Boykin and Curry. Everyone else on that defense is a glorified special teamer.

Now the offense has talent and may be the selling point. Get back Jason Peters, Kelce and Herremans and the O-line may be real good again instead of one of the worst in football. Nick Foles seems to have a nice upside and I'm excited to see what he can do playing with actual starters. McCoy is great... Maclin and Jackson are okay. all they need on offense really is a true #1 reciever, and I think Celek is on the downside of his career, so another TE would be good.

on Defense they need an entire secondary, another LB, and a few lineman.

I'd love to see a guy like Lovie or Ken Wisenhunt be our Defensive Coordinator. As far as head coach, the dude from Indy or another up and coming coordinator. No college coaches please.

They have $32.6 million tied up in Asomugha ($15m), Cole ($3.5m), Mike Patterson ($2.9m), Cullen Jenkins ($4.5m), Ryans ($6.7m) next year. They have badly underperformed but have all shown talent at some point. After all, this is a team that is two short seasons removed from being dubbed "The Dream Team" by the one and only Vince Young.

Nnamdi is maybe the worst corner in the league. I think he was ranked 127 out of all NFL corners. Rodgers-Cromartie is a me first dog who is not a good teammate. Trent Cole is just getting old and is a shell of his former self. Demeco Ryans does not belong on that list, as he actually has talent and heart.

Nnamdi NEEDS to be cut if the defense wants to do anything next year. He was a quarterback's wet dream this year. and it doesnt help that the philly safety's suck.

with the 4th pick.. Philly needs a playmaker. If that DT named Star is there, a combo of him and Fletcher Cox might be unstoppable. Not sure how that Monte teo guy projects as a pro, but if he is supposed to be as good of a pro as that Luke guy from BC last year, he might have to be looked at. though if the offensive Tackle from Texas a&m is on the board at 4, it is a no brainer no matter the defensive needs.

So it sounds like you're saying that the jury is still out on Nnamdi?

all the members of the Jury could complete passes on Nnamdi all day long.

Its incredible how bad he is.

Jets should be very thankful Nnamdi went to philly.

One of the few good decisions Reid made all season was to finally bench Nnamdi in the final game.

Whisenhunt is an offensive guy. He was the OC at Pittsburgh before going to Arizona.

Someone needs to figure out why Nnamdi Asomugha was a shutdown corner at Oakland (and he was) and is a bum now.

The explination I used to hear was that it was a zone versus man deal. I think they played man in Oakland, where he excelled and play zone in Philly (or Vice-versa).

Locker room talk suggested that he's just not interested in playing.

He's old now.

Plus anyone who watched him play once this season can see he lost many steps and cant even keep up with the slowest of recievers.

Plus he came from a Loser organization and brought his Loser ways along with him to Philly. He is used to losing and completely fine with losing.

Plus he's not a big team guy. He's made more excuses this year than I've ever heard from a player, it's disgusting. He cares more about his charity work than his football work. Which is fine, only once you retire. If not, you are screwing the organization that pays you.

He is now one of the worst corners in football, if not the worst. He should have been fired along with Babin during the season.

Look, are you going to tell us if you think he should return or not?? Enough of the fence sitting, take a stand!

I'd be more inclined to believe Uncle Bank Account. He's 31 years old.

quack quack !!

declansharbor 01-17-2013 10:24 AM

I sure hope Chip knows of a few defensive backs that can actually tackle. I'm not sure my heart can take any more over-pursuing and missed assignments. Eraserhead Nnamdi needs to go. I wouldn't bring that hype train back at league minimum. I'm tired of him looking like he's in the heart of Idaho without a GPS. LOST!

Jets tab former Bills QB coach David Lee as their QB coach. :D

declansharbor 01-21-2013 08:44 PM

Marty Morn to the Jets?! How do the Jet faithful feel about this move made a few days ago? My guess is none too pleased, but that's just my totally biased guess.

Marty Morningweg's pass the ball 60 times a game and run it 15 times offense will be perfect for the Jets and Sanchez

I feel bad for Jets fans.

David Lee will straighten Sanchez out. He did wonders for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Marty will be better than what the Jets have had at OC during the Ryan era. But with Sanchez as the QB who knows if the offense will be any better.
