Yay!

Sigh. Was there ever a more perfect uniting of writer and actor than Jack Lemmon and Neil Simon?

Danzig 12-23-2012 04:23 PM

and the latter part of page two is a perfect illustration of why we don't have the poli room any more.

Riot may not have been overtly rude, but she was extremely condescending, a form of rudeness in it's own right.

The reality is that most of them would really be turned on.

Neil Simon's stuff is so great. I loved The Outoftowners and another one I could watch again and again is Barefoot in the Park.

You are so right; we own The Odd Couple on DVD.

"You leave me little notes on my pillow. I can't stand little notes on my pillow. 'We're all out of cornflakes. FU.' Took me three hours to figure out 'FU' was Felix Unger!"

Not Neil Simon, but my all time favorite Jack Lemmon is "The Apartment." Good grief, do I love that movie.

For awhile "mashup" trailers were pretty popular- taking a classic movie and cutting together a trailer to make the movie look like something totally different than what it was (showing the power of the editor, for sure). The best one was for "The Shining" but the "Odd Couple" one was pretty good, too:
