I know this is late, but I just discovered your post and joined the forum.
I am friends with Ibboyee's breeders so I know what happened to him. He was transferred from Pletcher to Ed Keneally(sic). His career ending injury happened on Ed's watch. At the sale Pletcher bid $1000 for him and wanted to have him as a stable pony. The woman who purchased him for $2000 previously worked at the farm where he was foaled. Indeed she helped raise him from a foal to the time he was sold and was happy to be able to purchase him and give him a well deserved retirement.
