Horses racing at that level who win are typically hard knocking and like to win -- occasionally you will see big droppers as well... but they are more likely to enter dated races than opens. The dated $7,500 and the $7,500 lifetime condition races are often ugly races generally speaking. It's horses who are in form but find ways to lose VS horses who are dropping from the sky and have obvious issues. |
