Now, if you and Hooves are having second thoughts, because you bothered to look at the electoral college map, I'm willing to give you and Hooves one hour - until 6:31 eastern time - to ask to change your bet to be just leaving the politics section of Derby Trail when you lose.

There is no benefit for Hooves taking the bet since I have the bet with you. It's redundant.

Why does anyone want the bet to be a permanent exile? Why not just make it a 6 month or maybe even a one year exile? I think a lifetime exile is a little extreme.

Our exiles on Derby Trail usually lead to time off for good behaviour or simply time served. Lifetime usually is a month or so. It's Internet time after all.
