Head up to Lake George for some Waterskiing and Wakeboarding....

TheSpyder 08-21-2012 07:24 PM

Anyone mention SPAC? Not sure if there's anything going on there, but a great place.

Take a detour to Pletcher's barn on the way back to your car after the races --

It's the middle barn with the nicer lawn/walking path that backs to the dirt road that leads to the free parking lot.

If you are looking for a nice meal after visiting Lake George, do not waste your time at tourist garbage in downtown Lake George, come back through Downtown Glens Falls and visit Bistro Talluah. Great meal.

ya mean like "man, what are you doin here ?" and "he knows that it's been me they've been coming to see" Billy Joel. A Billy Joel tribute band......thats rich, he's a nostalgia act himself.

It is much more California Style than Mexican. My vote strongly goes to Mexican Connection as well.

Only if you stick to the fried chicken and sweet corn, both of which are great. Would advise against ordering anything else. They did the near impossible and screwed up red beans and rice.

Put some advance wagers down, leave the track early and take the drive over to Cooperstown.

Let me rephrase that...Don't go with him unless the horse you are dying to see is actually stabled at Belmont Park. If that's what you're looking for, by all means, have at it.:D

pointman 08-22-2012 01:57 PM
