President Obama visited those in the hospitals. He left them a telephone number to contact him if they ever needed anything.

Contrast that to a president flying over devastation due to Katrina, while 1500 Americans died over days due to no help.

Yes, I am unapologeticly proud of this President, and his connection to American citizens. He doesn't politically do everything I want, and I disagree with some of his policies, but compared to the wasteland we had previously, it's great to get back to having a human being in the office.

In the aftermath of Katrina the feds were too busy going door to door confiscating legally owned guns. The local police were nowhere to be found. Looters ran amok. Riot if your homicide statistics seperated gun homicides that are gang related the numbers drop a lot. I mean a lot. If the guns were to blame this would be happening ten times a day, every day, everywhere til the end of time. Why aren't more anti-gun zealots more concerned about this administration putting thousands of these weapons in the hands of the Mexican drug cartels, proven homicidal maniacs? Why the lies? Why the stonewalling? Why the cover up? I bet Holder was holding his breath til the guns in this massacre were ID'd.

Wow. That's a great story.

I guess they are still worried about 11 people in intensive care, still worried some of them may yet die.

Not in the least. Will vote for this POTUS again in November, and glad to do it, compared to robot-lying-Romney, the corporate-owned puppet who hasn't changed a bit since his failed 2008 campaign run.

Columbine.....103 220 401-- 13
Dark Knight...052 000 041-- 12

WP- D. Klebold (1-2)
LP- J. Holmes (0-4)
S- E. Harris (4)

Pitching is shaky in that altitude.

incredibly embarrassing..

12 people killed, so many more hurt.. it is so fucl<ing sad when these things happen :(

Personally I want to try and remember the victims without giving the killer much thought. He's a sicko and will dominate the news, I wish he would stop being shown.

12 pretty amazing people :( makes my heart drop.

It was a great game.

I suppose Holmes can still pull out extra innings if one of his victims dies in the hospital over the next few days.

So, yeah, too soon.

Hey, stupid bi.otch, just pointing out that the people in the hospital loved the visit from the President, and that this POTUS has proven himself to be great in these situations, as a leader of this country. The Gabby Giffords mass murder, the wildfires, this mass murder ... this POTUS makes most American citizens proud - and has ensured the victims of these disasters are helped ASAP when the feds can offer it.

That's new for this county compared to the previous 8 years. And yeah, that's a good thing we should all be proud of. It's how every president, no matter their political affiliation, should act.

Antitrust32 07-23-2012 04:18 PM

it's just not a funny topic Calzone Lord.

but hey... at least you didnt twist it into something political like some of our derby trail citizens did.

Riot 07-23-2012 04:24 PM

Meow! :D You doth protest too much. Yet you admit that before you even signed onto nerdy trail, you were more concerned with making it personal and finding something to whine about.

There's a lot of sadness in this world. People are dying all the time.

First you can't joke about rape, now you can't joke about some nut who was in-line for a PhD lighting up a bunch of people at the midnight showing of a Batman movie?

What else is there to joke about?
