This was in the mid '80s. I was doing a little research thanks to the google newspaper archive and equibase, and I found the 1985 chart for the race, which was won by then 11-year old Pierre La Mont, who wound up his career with 19 wins from 99 starts. The total field finished their careers with a combined 156 wins out of 938 starts and nine of the 10 starters each ran at least 80 times.

Look for 10YO millionaire Musketier to soon defend his Elkhorn Stakes title, as he is posting works at Keeneland.

11 year old Love's Strong Hart, made his 70th start of his career when 4th in the Webb Snyder Stakes at Charles Town.

11-year old Snatch The Cash makes his first start in a year and a half in the second at Les Bois Park in Boise Wednesday night. Obviously not many pay close attention to what happens there, but he has always been one of my favorites having won 22 of his 44 lifetime starts, incluiding 9 of his last 11 dating back to '09 at Los Al and the CA fair circuit.

I finally remembered to look... guess she was last.

Maybe you should claim her. :)
