Paul said he was getting about 6 weeks off. He's on the farm in FL and would get some light training in there before going to Payson Park to join Mott barn or shipping back to the Belmont.

I will be in Florida from March 25 to April 1 visiting my parents and going to the Florida Derby. :)

Their house is about 45 minutes from Payson Park and I plan on going otu there one morning.

Is Toy Cannon still training at Payson.

Just off phone with Paul Pompa.. Cannon still in Ocala on the farm and will head north to Mott's Saratoga string in 2 weeks. Doing good. He's required a ton of attention due to how difficult he's been to work, but he appears to have turned the corner in terms of attitude. Will get pictures up as soon he gets here.

Any new info on Toy Cannon?

Will be training at the Oklahoma.. No rush. No timetable. Will turf route as soon as Mott thinks he's ready.

Talked to Pompa today. Said Cannon was on his way from Florida, so probably in the next few days. The Mott crew had not set up the barn yet when I went by last week.
