Was a loser jackass or is a loser jackass?

And should a loser jackass, who lied to his constituents repeatedly, resign or continue in office? :)

And will his wife be OK? ;)

According to you, lying is just fine.

According to me, it is not.

Not sure, not knowing details with your wife's financial affairs is lying? But in Weiner's case it's on tape. So should HE resign?

we had a guy resign because he sent a pic not wearing a shirt, didn't even lie about it. Personally I'd love to see the lil Weiner stay.

Bob you're a regular Caligula !

joeydb 06-06-2011 08:39 PM

He's not resigning, and he's not making amends with anyone, so what, exactly, does "taking responsibility" mean?

Yes, it is lying when there's a spot on the government financial disclosure form where you are required by law to list if your wife has income, and disclose it and the source.

And when you list "none" - five years in a row - when you and everyone else in Washington know damns well your wife works for a lobbyist, that's a bad thing.

Especially when you are a Supreme Court Justice. Ignorance of the law is no excuse for violating it, right ;)

Weiner, unlike Clarence Thomas, didn't break any laws. No, no reason for him to resign. He can certainly get an ethics investigation within the House, and be subject to the decision there.

But that guy resigned for no apparent reason - the assumption was that he resigned as there must be much more coming out that he wanted to hide.

Because sending a picture of yourself with your shirt off isn't an illegal thing ;)

You can read them on Kos. Yes, their stuff was hacked into and published.

Weiner probably should have apologized to Breitbart, but Breitbart just got lucky with his minions sending him something real. He's still known for being career-destroying by manufacturing lies.

Weiner on day one should have said, "Yeah, it's me, I goofed up, I'm now going home as I owe my wife everything if she'll still have me" and been done with it. He didn't break the law. He was just a loser jackass.

Ok, just to confirm that you understand though, there were no "hackers" involved. Weiner meant to send a message privately, accidentally posted it publicly, and then lied about it for 10 days to anybody who would ask. Stupidity did him in, not some sort of internet fairy.

I bet it wasn't even Weiner's erection. I bet it was Breitbart

All I know is if you pulled this stunt at most Corporations - you would be gone and gone quickly.

A Texas longhorn? Seriously though, gave this guy the benefit of the doubt, especially considering the source...now it's time for him to go! Feel sorry for his wife and the folks who voted for this loser.

Yes, as I said, I'm aware of that. I'm saying that Breitbart and Stark (and other friends of Stark) were hacked into subsequent to their screen grabs, during the past week, by AnonyMiss.

Coach Pants 06-07-2011 02:31 PM

The FBI ans CIA have several informants in Anonymous.

Riot 06-07-2011 02:52 PM

I'd believe that about FBI-CIA. I'd believe nothing is private, and nothing is completely secure anymore.

AnonyMiss (women on the internet) and Anonymous are two different internet hacker groups, but work together, apparently.
