They didn't.

They will probably survive until Stern's contract is up. I truly believe if Stern hadn't re-signed, they'd be in big trouble now.

I'm with you on this. I have a lifetime subscription as well. They should at least move the show back to 4-7 pm for the trouble

So if you've got a lifetime subscription to Sirius, you'll only need to add the smartphone app (2.99 a month, which also gives you enhanced internet audio streaming as well) and you'll get the full show on the SportsZone via the app, no?

No offense, but I can't see buying the best of XM as there is absolutely nothing of value in it other than ATR / TVG.

I understand the dynamics, and they are making an effort to appease their subscription base which is pretty cool, but a pretty crappy move nonetheless to take legacy program and moving it to the other side in order to get subscribers to shell out more dough for something they bought in the first place.

Hope this isn't the beginning of a trend.

There seems to be some confusion. I was just told by Steve Cohen that the live 3 hours of ATR is NOT available on the Premier (best of XM) package for Sirius.

Correct. Here's the latest update as of yesterday evening and this morningl...

Those that felt it was unfair to be offered the choice to subscribe to Sirius Premier to access all 3 hours of ATR live have been recognized by the network. Due to a handful of complaints in that regard, they have decided NOT to offer transmission of the show and TVG audio on Ch. 211 as they do not want the listners to think the scheduling changes were done with the intent of gaining additional subscriber revenue. As a result, no one gets to choose.

Anyone who already subscribed to Premier should send me an Email (sbyk@nycap.rr.com) with their subscriber information, and I will forward it to New York for a refund. I apologize for the confusion and inconvenience, and am sorry that the opportunity to reach Hours 2 & 3 of ATR live on Sirius continues to be up in the air.

It would be fine with me if they put you on a different channel everyday. Just post it here in the morning, no worries.

I've been on vacation so I've missed all of this. I agree with you, I hope they don't screw up XM.

I am also luckily an XM subscriber who empathizes with the Sirius subscribers who got the raw end of the shaft here. I believe Steve's show was initially on Sirius and only got to XM with the merger.

I am a displaced Chicagoan living in Louisville so I can understand their decision with Waddle and Silvy (best talk show for Chicago sports fans -- Silvy is a die-hard Cubs fan). It is on XM 210 even though I am usually at work by that time. I noticed yesterday on XM209 that TVG broadcast from noon until late into the evening (I thought TVG stopped at 7:00pm).

It does sound like the management at XMSirius truly is searching for a solution -- so do not give up yet (from what I have seen, Steve will be relentless is finding a solution).

SiriusXm is not abondoning Horse racing they just don't have the band width to broadcast it at the present. Steve Cohen is pushing for a full time Horse Racing station on the Sat 2.0, but isn't sure if it will be rolled out. He seems to be a racing fan himself and wants to air horse racing programming. He mentioned that he offered Steve the 7 - 10 window but doesn't know what Steve wants to do. Maybe golfer can add more.

I just told Sirius....( three radio's)....that I can understand the ""displaced Chicagoians & New Yorkers"" who want there hometown sports... you can TAKE my ""L.A, S.D.,St.L, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas"" traffic & weather stations OFF...since I drive on the east coast...and put Steve & TVG on one of those statons.
