How could you accuse any poster of not knowing you when you (moments earlier) admit to sharing things, like your deepest and most heart-felt thoughts. You post under your own name for goodness sake, how can you take umbrage with the "internet experience" while feeding it like that? The narcissism runs so deep on so many levels.

Check with me in three years when we can have a beer and discuss things. Till then. Go to your room.

Congrats on the tax cut extension Vic.

This Bog boy(18) and Blackthroatedwind could never know how special you have been to so many people in the industry. These two internet nobodys only wish they were as successful as you. OR
Maybe they really know of you, maybe they arent internet nobodys, maybe they are very respected and respectable people who have wonderful careers, care for children, educate people and are selfless.. The point Vic is if you dont know dont assume.

Vic anybody with a clue knows that Rosario and Garcia won a lot of money while they employeed you and anybody who felt the urge to figure out your cut could have without you reporting as such. Let's call a spade a spade it was in poor taste to BRAG about your income. You left the agent role because you don't have Garcia or Rosario anymore and if you did you would still be hustling(not a bad thing) successfully to get them live mounts. You would be continueing to earn very real money and the fruits of your efforts would be vast. Your wonderful family would be encouraging you to be successful.
you left the game for a lot of reasons they are your reasons but I am sure the way we all could figure out your cut when the sun was shining is the same way we can figure out why it isnt shining anymore.

What we both know is that life is a big circle and that you have had your place on different spots of it. Perhaps remembering the past makes the present more tasteful. keep it in mind before you hit the submit reply button.

Vic you never know when you will need a friend in the biz. Remember there is a racing world outside of Ca.

Can't you just send him a PM or something.

hockey2315 12-11-2010 01:26 PM

I'm enjoying this. Finish him, Bog.

I know why.... because he's shouting at the top of his internet lungs: LOOK AT ME.... I AM SO G-D D--N MULTIFACETED IN THE HORSE RACING INDUSTRY!

It reminds me of those self-indulgent Hollywood phonies who own bizarre pets like Crocodiles and Pythons and crap.

Vic could embark upon a training career.

You're right it's very easy to figure out what any agent makes. If you think I was bragging I feel terrible. That certainly wasn't my intent. In fact just the opposite. I was trying to illustrate that for me extra money doesn't matter. Health and family do. You are quite wrong when you say that I would still be working for Garcia or Rosario if I could. Simply not true. I was never comfortable as an agent and don't expect I ever would be. Working for Tyler was such a different experience I tried it for a while longer but at the end of the day I chose to follow my heart both literally and figuratively. All I can tell you is that my reasons for leaving and exploring mew avenues were EXACTLY what I said they were. If you choose to not believe that. There's nothing I can do.

randallscott35 12-11-2010 02:06 PM

Did you have knowledge of the ad?

That's not just a horse sonny boy. That's Zenyatta. They let me hold her all on my own. What a special privlidge. What a special mare. You're young you might get to see another like her. Me? Not so much.

Health and happiness are extremely important.. All the money in the world cant buy you either. I have had quite the difficult year and no money I have or dont have could change it.

You did seem to love being an agent and while I cant point to any specific post I do remember you being thrilled to be finding such good fortune.

Please keep in mind IF you had both books still you would not have had to deal with the last 6 months(or however long its been).

I try not to fool myself..I try and realize when I am just BS'ing myself to make all that went wrong right..

I am thinking that you could still be healthy and happy if you were succeeding with two of the best jocks in the country earning for the team.. I dont know but if I had to guess it didnt suck.

I only had them both together for a very short time. You're right the money didn't suck. But in my case it wasn't worth losing time with my wife and step-daughter. Remember, agenting was my second job. It became more than full time just on it's own and that was too much. Too STAY with it would have been BS'sing myself. I don't understand why that's so hard to understand?

In other news, I am undefeated in the 500 meter against the 6 year old that lives next door. We might not see another like me for a while. What a privilege to have me here on Derby Trail.

OK I'm finished. Tried to welcome you and share our great sport with you. I have no time for haters. There will be no responses to your posts henceforth. May the racing gods always smile down upon you.

Remember I can do the math..Calling races something, I have always thought you do great, was coming to an end at HP and will eventually. I also have a clue that having Joel, who you told us all you loved working for and with , was paying real good.

glad you are so in love and happy with the ole lady and step daughter.
