Oh, that's right, there were none. Not even a G3 win in this country. ML would've won the G1 Pat O'Brien too if not for the trouble with the gate causing him to break badly, but whatever.

Proviso didn't lose by a neck or a half a length. She was 7th to the impressive returning champ. Good luck to anybody getting the Eclipse over Goldi.

Benny the Bull didn't win a grade 1 here when he won it in 2008. But he won two grade 2's and the Sunshine Millions Sprint.

Her brilliant performance warrants a hard look at HOY...could care less if she is from across the pond or Mars for that matter...Where does it say the HOY is restricted to American horses? Well deserving and truly a great champion who will be back for a 4th time!

Why even run stupid races like the Stephen Foster and the Whitney anymore? Clearly nobody cares about them.
Let's just have one weekend of racing all year and whichever horse runs the best that weekend (or seems the neatest) is the HOY.

Sorry, Scat … 8-furlong turf specialists don't win HotY in this country…

Yeah but Goldikova has won as many races at 1 1/8 Miles and longer as Zenyatta won at 1 1/4. So it looks like neither is a specialist.

Goldi would get CREAMED in the varsity (BCT, BCC, Arc) contests.

That's why she keeps playing with the jay-vees…

You know what's the stupidest thing about you?

No, of course you don't. That's what's the stupidest thing about you.

You think you are clever and witty, but in actuality, you are a complete moron.

If you call this year's BC Turf the Varsity then what was Zenyatta running against in California, the Special Ed class?

I know, that was the point. All this "she only won 1 G1 here" is BS if you give it to Benny the Bull who didn't win any G1s here OR run in the BC Sprint period. They gave it to an American owned horse with some graded wins, but you can't tell me they didn't give him credit for that G1 in the UAE. It shouldn't have counted if we can't count Goldikova's wins.

If Goldikova was viable as a choice in 2009 off of her BC win, she's viable now for Turf Female. I don't think it's easy to get her HOTY just because overcoming the bias for a turf horse is hard enough, nevermind a miler, and nevermind a female miler. I just hope she gets credit next year for her incredible accomplishments. She's truly special.

What you are leaving out and you left it out in the post I responded to was Benny The Bull won graded stakes here also. Yeah, I'm sure his win in Dubai was considered. It shouldn't have, but it probably was.

I think the world of Goldikova. She'll probably win top older horse again at the Cartier Awards in Europe. She'll be in the hall of fame soon enough and she deserves that also. IMO she doesn't deserve the female turf eclipse here though. She's a lot better than Proviso, but Proviso had a better year here. And here is no way she deserves HOY based on one race here.

Actually, if you look closely, at the beginning of the post I'm quoting you.

You sir, are a tard, thus I did not feel the need to be redundant.
