Miesque's Approval?
Singletary?
Intercontinental?
Better Talk Now?

I'm not saying US horses are a force to be reckoned with on the turf, but these things happen.

Miesque's Approval...nothing like that Wolfson magic!

Before anyone starts tossing Goldlikova, please note she keyed a $6,600 superfecta last year while going off at 7-5. Sure she can lose and Paco Boy has been close twice and will be 4x the price, but I believe I'd rather spread it deep underneath again and hope some US runners fire.

Come on, Gio Ponti? He's a neat horse and he's good for an American turf horse but how good is he really...he sure seems to find ways to lose races he should win.

Proviso, seriously? We already went over this. She couldn't get close to Goldikova in Europe and needed to come run against our average turf/synthetic females to start to win. She's really not that good.

And finally, Sidney's Candy. If there's a favorite and likely horse to finish last in the Mile this one is it. He's yet to face even average turf horses let alone true world class quality Milers. He may have the lead early but as soon as the class horses run him down watch him plummet to the back of the pack. If there's one thing I'm confident of in the Mile, it's this horse has zero chance to hit the board, let alone win.

Sidneys Candy zero chance? wow

Plenty of horses who have some speed lined up for the mile...Get Stormy should keep him honest and I doubt they are going to try and take Get Stormy back after last time, and some others can be positional. We'll see what happens, but he's up against it from a pace standpoint as well as the fact that he's yet to be really tested for class.

Port Conway Lane 10-27-2010 09:13 PM

Good deal.

I'd be surprised if Theyskens' Theory is 20-1 in the Juvenile Fillies.............and I think R Heat Lightning will be overbet

Ummm...okayyyy. Plenty of reasons for him to lose but class isn't one of them.

Says the moron who doesn't even use PPs to handicap...class is certainly a reason he can use as he's yet to face legitimate G2 horses on the grass, let alone European G1 horses on the grass going a Mile. You are kidding yourself if you think the field he faced last time was in actuality a G2 field. But you can go ahead and pick him. Usually you don't even need PPs to pick losers, but make it even better and just pick loser after loser with PPs too...its par for your course.
