Good throw by Sanchez, just a drop by Cotchery

For the record I thought Folk had a zero percent chance of making that kick and that they should have went for it.

I just personally think Folk is terrible.

The Jets have played about as bad as a team can play offensively and have given the Ravens multiple chances with dumb penalties. Yet the Ravens are only up 1 point. Looks like the game is going to come down to whoever can make one big play.

I know Matt but you could pick a random drunk with a Fireman's helmet and they would have a better chance of kicking a FG fron 48 yds than Sanchez getting 5 yards on 4th down

They could have been a lot worse - they haven't turned it over but once.

Coach Pants 09-13-2010 09:10 PM

If they don't trust Sanchez to play the quarterback position like it's intended then they need to bench him for Brunell.

Yeah, but the play calling is way too conservative. I think Sanchez is okay. I guess I could be wrong but how would anyone know? He hasn't had a shot to do much.

Shottenheimer still calls plays like Pennington is behind the center.

Is it the calls are is he afraid to throw the ball down the field? It might be both.

MaTH716 09-13-2010 09:17 PM

They have made absolutely no offensive adjustments at all.
As far as Sanchez goes, I don't know if it's the play calling, but it just seems like he's playing scared. Like he's afraid to make a mistake, instead of putting the team on his back and attempting to make a big play/throw.

MaTH716 09-13-2010 09:18 PM

Some catch by Heap.

I guess it could be both. I'm not really sure what the point of getting rid of Thomas Jones was. They kept Shonn Greene because they view him as the future and they have given him the ball 5 times tonight.

Coach Pants 09-13-2010 09:24 PM

The Jets might not win more than 5 games. If they can't stop the RHT mush then things could go horribly wrong for them this season.

He has Matt Cavanaugh as his quarterback coach.

Ray Lewis would have atleast 4 Super Bowl rings if not for the dynamic duo of Cavanaugh and Kyle "Gutterball" Boller.

I don't remember anyone thinking that Kyle Boller was going to come in and be the next Joe Namath.

MaTH716 09-13-2010 09:31 PM

Ouch! Some hit by Lewis.

MaTH716 09-13-2010 09:32 PM

OMG, are you kidding me?

Coach Pants 09-13-2010 09:34 PM

How can this s.hit not be fixed?

miraja2 09-13-2010 09:36 PM

9.5 yards on 4th-and-10 was a pretty funny/fitting way for that game to end.
