There's a better chance of Smooth Operator riding Zenyatta in the BCC than him getting 3-1 on her.

If IF'S and WHAT'S were candy and nuts, If wishes were horses, beggars would ride; if turnips were watches, I would wear one by my side; and if IF's and AND's were pots and pans, there'd be no work for tinkers hands.

Grandma used to say.

There's probably a better chance of Smooth Operator riding Zenyatta in the Classic then him actually betting that card. But yeah, she'll be a lot shorter than 3-1.

I guess expert oddsmaker can be added to the list.

Coach Pants 08-18-2010 12:39 PM

I'd say it's far more likely that Zenyatta would put on a strap-on and ride Smooth Operator.

You know.

It's conceivable that Smooth Operator is Mike Smith!

Pants is too predictable anymore.

Much more entertaining watching fats take dahoss behind the woodshed, imo

Big Cali mare? Not ringing a bell.

He means Zenyatta.

He could mean fried squid. "Cali mare"...personally I would use spell check, but sure, sound it right out. I'd rather you give deep fried Mars bars a shot at history. They're delicious.

ManilaRose 08-21-2010 11:53 AM

Zenyatta 3-1 in the Classic? Wow. Rinterval could pay $10 if that's the case.

Here she is galloping 8/22. Her head's going all over the place, but sometimes she manages to settle for a few seconds. I hope she gets to work Monday.

She wanted to run so badly that the jock had to grab the reins up around her ears just to hold her back.

Arletta 08-23-2010 09:15 AM

Wow what a handful! Not an easy horse to ride it looks like. I wonder if they have ever considered using draw reins on her to get her to settle.
She did'nt appear too happy that's for sure..

Indian Charlie 08-23-2010 09:24 AM

I wonder if they ever considered letting her run.

Nah.
