5. Sterling.

Both Hockey and myself went from July 1st through the Breeders cup posting every graded race held on a Sat, 148 races in all and both showed a profit. Rock Hard doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell of equaling that.

Ok then, HRfan at #2, everyone else down a spot, but Sterling gets honorable mention at #6.

Can we have other forum members submit their list of top 5 handicappers??? Kinda like our own version of the BCS??? How about a minimum of 1000 posts to be eligible to submit a list??? (This should be funny.) :D

In all seriousness, DrugS would have to be at the top of my list. The list would also include Serling.
If we are talking about just true public handicappers, add Joe Kristufek as well. If we are just talking about people on DT, relative newcomer Gaining Ground is becoming an opinion I consider valuable, as is Bogey's.

Point Given 1985 once went 9 for 9 at a NY OTB, sweeping the pick 4s, pick 3s and the pick 6. His only mistakes on the card were missing the trifecta in the fourth and seventh races and missing the exacta in the seventh as well.

Mr. Byk certainly seems to be flying beneath everybody's radar.

Not a list to be taken seriously without the Beulah twins or Bill Finley.

All I ever see on those threads is that guy cashing Pick-4 tickets! Even his beats seem to be the horse's fault and not faulty handicapping on his part.

He is amazing is'nt he?

I have to agree. It feels like DrugS puts more research into his handicapping than anyone.

I would never take the time to figure out there was a filly named Olympic Glory on the same card as Zardana in Brazil and who defeated a different filly (forgetting the name...Fiesta Lady??) who once compteted on even terms with Cocoa Beach.

herkhorse 06-16-2010 07:14 PM

since when does 2 blog followers qualify you as a public handicapper?

I did it myself. I just used the Paint program under Accessories.

I basically googled for some pictures to use, copied and pasted the Rockies picture first, then copy and pasted the QR, Zenyatta, and Shirreffs picture.

Then added some text with an appropriate font.

I bet someone with time on their hands could make an even snazzier poster.

I had this idea I could make a real movie trailer and post it on YouTube, and have dramatic music playing while a picture of the Rockies comes into view, then have it fade into a black and white image of Quality Road, but that would take much more effort probably lol

lets settle this..public handicapper on this board

1 btw... on point nyra guru.. has the time and its his job..gives away cash most days..

2 kasept tgs and inside info does a great job as a whole but does not have the time..small show he does..
3 bogey steves backup plan does a fine job and makes the pick 4s and spot plays count..

78 rht his pro sports bets are that of legend and he sets the tone for all of us to load up ..on one side or the other........lol

If we are going to really be serious and discuss this, I feel Tammaro and Doug are better the Gus. Thats taking nothing at all away from Gus though, hes also really good.
