Have a heart. Our government pisses away 800 million daily on **** that doesnt do any good for anyone except for Riot.

At least this money is being put to good use. Just because China isnt doing anything doesnt mean our country shouldnt either.

We are the most compassionate world leading country in the history of human civilization for a reason, though for some reason democrats think because of waterboarding guys who flew planes into the WTC, we are evil.

We shouldn't do anything because we don't have the money. It's foolish to borrow money in order to give it to Haiti. We've been far too generous with that country. Hell...Bill Clinton enabled Aristide to steal $800 million and flee to Africa.

It's ok to have a heart but it can be very dangerous to have a heart and no brain.

A tragedy can always be turned into a political victory.

You will see thousands of Haitians immigrating to Florida. Unclytrust will probably change her tune in 10 years.

There is no way I voted for Obama. I am a huge McCain fan. & I am against the Spendulous and the Health Care Revolution and big government spending.

We give $100 million to Detriot to pass out condoms. spending 100 mil to our government is equivallant to me dropping a penny out of my pocket.

If you give me the choice between spending 100 million to pass out condoms, or 100 million to help save thousands of lives, its really a no brainer choice.

And its not through our Government where we can do our best help. government usually screws up anything it touches.

Charities, volunteers, 20 bucks to the red cross, etc. is a much better way.

Yea, this whole giving American money to countries affected by natural disasters is a really new, groundbreaking socialist "goof" thing to do.

Christ.

I get what you mean, but it's hardly like this is a novel idea perpetrated by Obama. A $100 million price tag is small compared to some disaster relief efforts in recent years....what a goof.

the gov't doesn't have the $100mil. to spend!

The Red Cross is corrupt just like the government. Oh how quickly we forget about 9/11 and The Red Cross. Just pull a Riot and google the s.hit.

it was one thing in the past to give the money. now America's in trouble and you don't have the money to give.

honestly, if the dont give it to Haiti, do you really think they will just not spend the money in general? Obama spends like he's on an unlimited shopping spree.

I have a big issue with the 2 TRILLION he spent this year on spendulous and health care (coming soon to a crumbling economy near you). I just dont have an issue with this, just like I didnt have an issue when we sent relief to the tsunami victims.

Coach is making the argument like you are, and I get it.

However, he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. He'd be pilloried if he got on TV and said "this is a great catastrophe...but we don't have money, so we can't aid efforts there like we always have done for other countries in the past."

I'm sure Malkin, Coulter, 86 people on this board, O'Reilly, McCain would all leap to his defense. :zz:

Wyclef will solve that!

actually this is a good place to donate too:

http://www.dalembertfoundation.org/

Coach Pants 01-15-2010 01:08 PM

Just throw money at the problem. IT'LL GO AWAY!

Of course he's going to send aid. Taking a stand and doing what's best for the country isn't more important than popular opinion. Ease the sheeple with disingenuous acts of charity.

Its not that difficult for people to donate $1, $5, or $10 or $20. it adds up!

And a significant portion of it goes into the pockets of liberal hypocritical douchenozzles who leech onto a charity and have the nerve to be employed...by a god damn charity!

I guess research the charity then.

I am pretty confident that Wyclef's charity, and Samuel Dalembert (only Haitian in the NBA) charity will be spent in good ways.

I would actually pay Wyclef to not make a song out of the tragedy.

I do agree with that, unless 100% of all the songs profit's is put to good use.

Its not right for some people to profit from something like this. And you are right about the Red Cross. Much better charities out there.
