The only thing I've ever said here about Carter was that he understood the middle east was complicated (tribal relations independent of borders and country affiliation, mix of religions, etc). There is this common belief these days that the Church, despite it's incredibly violent history, has suddenly turned over a new leaf and is no longer violent. It's ridiculous.

Muslims steered those Jets into buildings where innocent people were working. Muslims are the ones seen in those videos sacrificing Camels for their sick gutter religion. Like I've said before, they're religion judges people here on Earth, and destroys them. Christians have pretty much been letting God dish out the punishment after the non-believers die. That's not always the case (abortion doctor got owned,) but it usually is. You want to go back into history to a time Christians were acting like Muslims are now? Great.
