Yeah, when Beck sat there and called Obama a racist with a deep-seated hatred of white people, I thought, "poor Glenn, you feel nobody loves you?"

Now the scary buzzword this week is "rape". Beck, Limbaugh, conservative radio. Best when used in association with the black guy. I swear, these guys have professional fear-mongers consulting for them.

So in the past few months we've gone through threats of Hitler, Socialism, Communism, Stalin, Mao ... now rape. What threat is next? Smallpox? Plague?

This is hilarious from SNL last night: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/1..._n_366748.html

He doesn't care. He has a math project. If Hitler ever stepped foot in a church, then this guy is gunna say Adolf killed all those people to make Christ happy. I mean, really, if you were ever forced to go to Sunday School, then he's got your deeds put into the "Killing for Jesus" column. If you killed 5-10 deer, it must of been for Jesus. Meanwhile, the Muslims yell "Allahu Akbar!" to make sure you know exactly why they killed people (their gutter religion.)

This is how twisted you are. Ur a Republican who supports Obama, who thinks Carter 'got it' and now ur calling for Buddism? LOL ur Pres (OB) chose to 'heisman' the Dalai Lama until he saw the Red Chineese and everyone else. Maybe he'll bring him in for a beer in the Rose Garden in a couple months?

Your increasing level of attention to my political views is ... odd. Not to mention pretty inaccurate.

Yes, I voted for Obama. As did a whole lot of other moderate GOP. I waited two years to vote for McCain, but he screwed us over with that joke of a VP choice. He chose party over country. Sorry, John.

The only thing I've ever said here about Carter was that he understood the middle east was complicated (tribal relations independent of borders and country affiliation, mix of religions, etc). Yup, Carter "got it" from that angle. I've never said I supported Carter, or agreed with him. Didn't even vote for him.

No, I'm obviously not "calling for Buddism" How you got that from my post is .... :zz:

SCUDSBROTHER 11-22-2009 07:20 PM

Wow..A Pinto was a more exciting Ford than the one who was President. Maybe Riot is a Ford Republican.

Maybe.

Then again, maybe it has more to do with Hitler saying things like "I am doing Gods work" (in reference to killing Jews), among many other things besides stepping into a church.

What I find so ironic about you Steve is that you rip Islam while you so feverishly protect and promote a religion that says someone with your tastes is going to burn in hell.

Nice try though at belittling my position by dismissing the historical record and then saying Hitler is only a Christian because he stepped into a church once.

Oh, and Danzig, I knew you were on my side. I wasn't trying to attack you at all. Sorry.

There is this common belief these days that the Church, despite it's incredibly violent history, has suddenly turned over a new leaf and is no longer violent. It's ridiculous.

We have been beating, stabbing, beheading, and intimidating people for all of the 39 years I have been going to church....it's one of the best reasons to go. Over the Thanksgiving hollidays we will be serving food to the needy, and while we are out we'll probably ruff up a few people to boot.

I feverishly protect and promote a religion? What? LOL? I promote a religion? My brother's a word for word Christian, and I couldn't tell ya the last time I talked to him. I don't like Conservative Catholics at all. Like I said, I think people would do well to teach their kids what Jesus said, n' fk the rest of that Bible. I don't know how that's promoting Christianity, because there is no form of Christianity (that I know of) that just teaches Christ's teachings. Christians didn't kill those 13 innocent soldiers (and an unborn child.) A Muslim did that, and he wanted everyone to know he did it for Islam. Muslims steered those Jets into buildings where innocent people were working. Muslims are the ones seen in those videos sacrificing Camels for their sick gutter religion. Like I've said before, they're religion judges people here on Earth, and destroys them. Christians have pretty much been letting God dish out the punishment after the non-believers die. That's not always the case (abortion doctor got owned,) but it usually is. You want to go back into history to a time Christians were acting like Muslims are now? Great. That's your way of excusing this scum? That's amazing. I see a big difference between the two religions. A big, big difference. I feer Islam a hell of a lot more. Can't say I like either. If we had a country of mainly Sean Hannity Christians ( Ultra-Conservative Catholics,) then ,yea, I'd be pretty scared. They're diluted. Muslims aren't. The so called Moderate Muslims have to fear for their lives (if they speak up.) You have no excuses for Islam being garbage. All you can do is say Christianity was that way back when. That does nothing. That doesn't protect anybody from this scum. It just makes you feel good.

Well, yeah, that and saying they are the same way now too, which is something you cannot seem to comprehend.

I'm willing to bet that if you lived in a Muslim country you'd be cursing out the Jews and Christians as being uncivilized monsters.

Give Steve-O a 20 second sound byte and he's good to go.

You're friggin amazing. The level of distortion n' distraction is unmatched. I'd surely of been killed by age 12 if I was born into Islam. They destroy those who won't believe. They off the ones who leave the religion. You've written about me, and Christianity. I was writing about Islam, and you didn't like it. So, being the sad lil contrarian return server, all you can do is distract/distort. You think people don't notice how you change the subject to distort? Half these people are baseball fans. They know when you're trying to change the eye level. Notice how some people just answered the original question at the start of the thread? You can only seem to respond to other responders. Do you not think your own view can simply stand alone? You must start returning someone's serve right away? Some people really like returning serve more than serving. Don't you think people can read your view, and an opposing view. Then decide? You must mix the 2 right away? Look at all these Conservative threads on here. How come I can just let them be up without feeling the need to get in there n' answer their views with a return of serve?.... It's because I can tolerate a difference of opinion, and return servers really struggle to tolerate a difference of opinion.

This hate on all of Islam is absurd. Islam far outnumbers Christianity in the world. There is plenty of it in this country. Are they all attacking us? No. Terrorists attacked us. Not Islam. Not the rest of the Americans who are Muslim, not the other 10,000 brave Muslims who serve in our Armed Services and protect us.

If Church and state are supposed to be separate than of course you should be able to vote for an atheist president.
