mcclem, you have to watch Gone Fishin' about six times and it gets funnier than hell.

I thought Lost in Translation was brilliant. One of the best films of that year, and a terrific performance from Bill Murray. But we can agree to disagree on that one.:D

Natasha does Moscow and it was more of a booth than theater but only cost 75 cents. Whoever was in the next both was too cheap to pay and was trying to see the movie by peeking through a hole in the wall. :eek::D

SCD-I think you missed the concept at this "theater".

First of all, that WAS Natasha in the next booth. Second, it probably wasn't her eye over the hole in the wall. It was her mouth. And third, if you only paid 75 cents for admission, I'm guessing that "Natasha" was really a stockbroker from Lake Forest named Kevin who was working through some ambiguity issues at the time.

The winner, hands down, for worst movie of all time is "Rachel Getting Married". It was a recommendation from my sister-in-law to my wife.

A lot of people I know loved this movie. I hated it. Thought it was hopelessly depressing and slow moving. Also I had high expectations because I like Bill Murray and Scarlett.

Another movie I thought was really bad was "Mr and Mrs Smith". What a waste of 2 hours that was.

Plus Mel Brooks is a thoroughbred racing fan! Used to see him once in a while at Calder with his wife, but since she passed I dont believe hes been back. However Shecky Green was showing up last yr quite a bit

I watched Mad Money on a flight to Vegas last year, and if parachutes were available, I would have jumped over Nebraska rather than watch the last hour of that movie.

I don't know what made me think of it, but Two for the Money was absolutely God Awful. It's the one where Pacino and McConaughey are football guru's/bookies. There was absolutely nothing good about this movie, even the football scenes sucked.

I actually enjoyed it very much because I like Matthew McConaughey and could relate to a lot of what the movie was about. It was a very lame performance by Pacino though. Man, his last few movies were even worse. 88 Minutes must be on any list of worst movies.

I loved the line Pacino said when describing McConaughey, his protege in the movie..."All he does is work out and pick winners."

He's a genius, whatever anyone may think of the man personally his work is almost always very interesting and funny. Crimes and Misdemeanors is a terrific film. Marin Landau gives a brilliant performance.
